At the conclusion of our public meeting this evening to discuss the Cultural Fund proposal (see: http://forums.slcds.info/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=7871), some of us started talking about having an LGBT Pride Parade. I floated a time in the Spring, like March or April, when we tend to have more people online.
We could use this opportunity to reach out to other LGBT-friendly estates and LGBT groups in SL and include it as an SL event.
Would anyone want to be on a planning committee? Does anyone have any other ideas about a parade? We could also have a festival associated with it.
