Re: News for land owners
That's great news for those of us on the Mainland, that's for sure.
I'm anxious that it's far too little, too late but it is what it is. Software has a life-cycle and SL has been open since 2002.
What I'm wondering about though, and admitting I just skimmed the post; what does this mean for our estate -if anything?

I don't believe this particular change affects anything other than Mainland, so would not affect CDS at all. However, I posted it here because there are quite a few of us who do own Mainland parcels (but might not follow the LL blog posts).

Plus, premium members now get 1024 sq.m without tier on the mainland, which is double what it was. I guess I can put up another CDS info-site somewhere then!

I'm glad you did -for exactly that reason! (I fit both groups). I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. Thanks!

We really SHOULD use these free parcels for CDS promotion. Chief among them should be a redesign of Anzere, and maybe we could replicate that onto various parcels contributed by those of you who are premium and can provide a mainland parcel. I haven't had one in years, but with this new offer I could provide 3 of them!

I've had a 512 sq m parcel dedicated to promoting CDS sitting next to the railroad tracks in Epirrhoe (a pretty busy stretch of rail) for quite a while now, and I know Rosie has a dedicated parcel on a lovely scenic roadway in Togata. Yes, it would be great to see more info centers springing up across the Mainland if more CDS citizens want to join in.

I have room on Funadama, and I already have two kiosks set out that Tor gave me. I'd be open to the idea of setting something up.

That's fantastic! Let's get together and talk about it. I have a simple display on my mainland 512 that is a fachwerk with the CDS timeline display that Tor made inside of it, and a couple of seats - a Kiosk, and the bierstein that gives out a CDS bier that I made for 2016. I'm more than happy to help anyone with a display on their mainland.

Too late I bought a 1024 in Pira Targa. There is a house on it, wonder if the old owner will delete it?

Re: News for land owners
If you purchased a Mainland parcel, you are the owner and have full rights, and can return the house to its owner.
