Summary of Actions, July 11 RA Meeting

1. Seven day votes acknowledged. Commerce Commission formed, no new chancellor elected.
2. Chancellor report: PIO Anna Toussaint announced, budget presented. Due to time, Chancellor will post her report on the forums and answer questions regarding same there.
3. Commissions reported status and announced meetings:
-Elections: (Gwyneth Llewllyn was away but has posted next meeting inquiry under legislative discussions
-Commerce: Lilith Ivory reported that the commission will meet for the first time on Saturday July 17 at 8 am.
-Citizenship: Arria Perreault reported that she is gathering data and that the commission will meet the week of July 12, watch for specifics.
-Finance: Tor Karlsfvalt reported that the commission has met three times, and is ready to will bring one report and recommendation to the next RA meeting.Finance has tentative meetings scheduled Monday, July 19th at 7:00 PM SLT, Sunday, July 25th at 8:00 AM SLT and Monday, July 26 at 8:00 AM SLT.
-Communications: Kaseido Quandry reported that the Communications commission had met three times, and had posted a report with recommendations on the forum, resulting in the proposed Public information Act. The commission will continue to meet to discuss more issues throughout the term.
4. Public Information Act: Discussed and passed into law, 7-1 with 7 day votes outstanding. Kaseido agreed to work with the Chancellor and the Public information officer to implement changes. Text will be posted on the portal.
