September Financial Report

Post by Sudane Erato »

I just uploaded the September financial report to the website:

https://cdsdemocracy.org/cds-treasurer/reports/

If nothing else, do have a look at the chart page (page 5), which shows how each sim is doing by its revenues as a percent of what the tier we pay for that sim to LL. CN and FDS remain our two real problem children sims; we must struggle to find a way to improve their desirability and thus their occupancy. But... odd... notice that LA is taking a sudden crashing fall. I have no idea what that's about, but let's all do what we can to make LA the successful sim that it's been.

Disclaimer here about this chart. It's actually measuring OCCUPANCY, but measuring it in the L$s that flow from each occupied parcel. It doesn't take into account parcels which are overdue, but that's actually fairly small, as shown by Page 4, and often things that are overdue get paid up. So this chart is not the same as our Income Statement (Page 3) which shows actually what we took in and what we paid out each month. In some ways the chart shows a more realistic picture.

Thanks Sudane. The chart shows nicely how we are still covering the estate tier, although some regions are performing poorly. Overall it all seems to be okay, if I read this correctly.
