[10:06] Rosie Gray: so, I call this meeting to order
[10:06] Rosie Gray: hopefully Pip and Drewski can either join us or read the transcript afterwards
[10:07] Rosie Gray: I think we have the fishing village name on the Agenda, and review of more of where we are with the updates
[10:07] Rosie Gray: is there anything else you would like to add to that?
[10:07] Lilith Ivory understands the hint and promises to post sooner than last time :)
[10:07] Rosie Gray: ;)
[10:08] Rosie Gray: okay, well if we think of something, we can add it
[10:08] Rosie Gray: so, the Fishing Village not called Wanda!
[10:08] Sudane Erato: hehe
[10:08] Rosie Gray laughs
[10:08] Rosie Gray: lots of good suggestions
[10:08] Sudane Erato: why does it need a name? :)
[10:09] Lilith Ivory: hehe
[10:09] Rosie Gray: well it does make it easier to refer to I guess
[10:09] Sudane Erato: its Colonia Nove :)
[10:09] Sudane Erato: Nova
[10:09] Lilith Ivory: I have an heretic idea about this
[10:09] Sudane Erato: :)
[10:09] Lilith Ivory: exactly Sudane and it should not have the name of an italian fishing village but of a suburb of cologne
[10:09] Lilith Ivory: just translated in italian
[10:09] Sudane Erato: haha
[10:10] Delia Lake: lol
[10:10] Lilith Ivory: how was that part of cologne called where you were working once Tan?
[10:10] Rosie Gray: We aren't replicating an RL village though
[10:11] Lilith Ivory: sadly I didn´t have time to check the city map of cologne to find a god name
[10:11] Sudane Erato: Maybe there's a fishing village part of Koln? :)
[10:11] Tanoujin Milestone: Nippes? Porz? Kalk? I do not remember
[10:11] Lilith Ivory: of course not but it would be more fitting and more fun than just a name of a real italian village
[10:12] Sudane Erato: I like Nippes :)
[10:12] Rosie Gray: yes I don't think we need a real italian village name either
[10:12] Lilith Ivory: hehe, me too
[10:12] Rosie Gray: what does Nippes mean? does it have a meaning?
[10:12] Lilith Ivory: Nippes is cool
[10:12] Delia Lake: that's what I was looking for also
[10:12] Tanoujin Milestone: well, it is kitsch
[10:12] Sudane Erato: lol :)
[10:12] Tanoujin Milestone: little figurines, tourist trash
[10:12] Rosie Gray: oh, well that's interesting!
[10:12] Sudane Erato: haha
[10:13] Sudane Erato: perfect! :)
[10:13] Tanoujin Milestone: lol
[10:13] Rosie Gray: :D
[10:13] Lilith Ivory: we need a lot of souvenir shops there!
[10:13] Sudane Erato: commerce! :)
[10:13] Rosie Gray: I also liked La Speranza as a suggestion
[10:13] Sudane Erato: yeah, that's nice too
[10:13] Lilith Ivory: oh yes that too
[10:13] Lilith Ivory: I would prefer something fun :)
[10:14] Lilith Ivory: like Nippes or La Speranza
[10:14] Rosie Gray: either sounds fine to me
[10:14] Rosie Gray: Nippes is faster to type!
[10:14] Rosie Gray: and would take less room on the About Land
[10:14] Lilith Ivory: Colognia Nippes :)
[10:15] Sudane Erato: yes! :)
[10:15] Rosie Gray: it made me think that the other fishing village should have a name too
[10:15] Sudane Erato: the one in LA?
[10:15] Lilith Ivory: I am not sure if it needs to be in about land
[10:16] Lilith Ivory: do we have that in other parts of CDS?
[10:16] Rosie Gray: no I guess not, other than just the name of the parcel
[10:16] Lilith Ivory: we don´t write NFS valley anywhere too
[10:16] Rosie Gray: this is true
[10:16] Lilith Ivory: we just know it is called like this
[10:17] Rosie Gray: I always think of NFS as the city part, and then the valley outside
[10:17] Sudane Erato: i think there's one of the old street signs that points "To the Valley"
[10:17] Rosie Gray: yes there is
[10:17] Rosie Gray: and also points to 'the city'
[10:17] Sudane Erato: yeah
[10:17] Delia Lake: I refer to NFS Valley when I tell people where I live but it isn't written on our map
[10:17] Lilith Ivory: yes and we can call a road sign that points to colognia nippes
[10:17] Rosie Gray: sure
[10:18] Rosie Gray: oh there is Drewski
[10:18] Rosie Gray: I'll just ask him if he's going to join us
[10:19] Lilith Ivory: Hi Drewski
[10:19] Sudane Erato: hi Drew!
[10:19] Rosie Gray: :D
[10:19] Tanoujin Milestone: hey Drew :)
[10:19] Drewski Northman: Hello friends, sorry I’m late!
[10:19] Delia Lake: Hi Drew
[10:19] Sudane Erato: wow... all dressed up! :)
[10:19] Rosie Gray: we have just been discussing the name of the new fishing village
[10:19] Delia Lake: the only reason to have a district/neighborhood name imo is if it helps people find the place
[10:20] Drewski Northman: I like the name from the forum post, La Speranza
[10:20] Rosie Gray: and seems like we have come to a conclusion of calling it Nippes
[10:20] Drewski Northman: oh, what’s that name mean?
[10:20] Lilith Ivory giggles
[10:20] Sudane Erato: :)
[10:20] Rosie Gray: Maybe Tan can explain
[10:20] Tanoujin Milestone: it means little figurines sold to tourists
[10:20] Rosie Gray: :D
[10:21] Lilith Ivory: the things grandma has on her shelves
[10:21] Rosie Gray: does it actually mean that, or does it stand for that kind of thing somehow?
[10:21] Delia Lake: I don't know. Nippes makes me think of the little nip bottles of liquor that people drink on the fly and toss out in city parks and streets. I'm not so fond of that name
[10:21] Rosie Gray: I mean, does it literally mean that
[10:21] Tanoujin Milestone: you say: "Hey, there is only Nippes on the shelf"
[10:21] Lilith Ivory: I consulted my dictionary: trinkets
[10:22] Delia Lake: and nip bottles in the bushes
[10:22] Tanoujin Milestone: for example a little sphinx you brought from your trip to egypt
[10:22] Rosie Gray nods
[10:22] Tanoujin Milestone: trinkets!
[10:22] Lilith Ivory: if I understood Tan right Nippes is also a quarter of RL Cologne
[10:22] Tanoujin Milestone: let me look
[10:22] Tanoujin Milestone: yes, moment!
[10:22] Rosie Gray: I know what little bottles you mean, Delia, but I've never heard them called that
[10:22] Drewski Northman: I can’t really say what Nippes makes me think about, as I have a corrupt mind lol
[10:23] Sudane Erato: hehe
[10:23] Rosie Gray: haha
[10:23] Tanoujin Milestone: Nippes (German: Köln-Nippes, Ripuarian: Neppes [ˈne²pəs]) is the fifth city district (Stadtbezirk) of Cologne, Germany. Nippes was incorporated into the city of Cologne in 1888 and the district was created in 1975. A large Ford Europe production plant is located in Niehl, the north-eastern part of the district.
Nippes borders the Cologne districts of Chorweiler to the north, Mülheim to the east, Innenstadt to the south, and Ehrenfeld to the south-west.
[10:23] Tanoujin Milestone: from wikipedia
[10:23] Sudane Erato: And they haul in a lot of fish :)
[10:23] Rosie Gray: thanks Tan
[10:23] Tanoujin Milestone: :D
[10:24] Tanoujin Milestone: that is because of the rhine ;)
[10:24] Rosie Gray: well I don't know, I liked La Speranza a lot too
[10:24] Tanoujin Milestone: erm, the rhenus
[10:24] Sudane Erato: exactly! :)
[10:24] Sudane Erato: oh!
[10:24] Tanoujin Milestone: if we call it La Speranza we need a town center, like a meeting place
[10:25] Rosie Gray: it's got the little fish restaurant
[10:25] Tanoujin Milestone: perfect
[10:25] Rosie Gray: it's six one half dozen of another to me, either is fine
[10:25] Sudane Erato: well, yes... dueling cafes :)
[10:25] Lilith Ivory: afk for a second, need more coffee
[10:25] Rosie Gray: any more comments about it, or we can vote on it
[10:26] Drewski Northman: I see the plusses with both names...really just a preference issue I think
[10:26] Sudane Erato: omg... i abstain... either one is nice :)
[10:26] Rosie Gray: lol
[10:27] Lilith Ivory: back
[10:27] Rosie Gray: well jeez
[10:27] Rosie Gray: wb Lilith
[10:27] Drewski Northman: wb Lilith
[10:27] Lilith Ivory: lol I like both too
[10:27] Rosie Gray: okay well let's vote then anyway, just to make a decision
[10:27] Rosie Gray: please?
[10:27] Sudane Erato: ok
[10:27] Drewski Northman: yes, lets
[10:27] Rosie Gray: everyone for Nippes please say aye
[10:28] Lilith Ivory: aye
[10:28] Sudane Erato: aye
[10:28] Rosie Gray waits
[10:28] Delia Lake: nay
[10:28] Sudane Erato: can i vote for both?
[10:28] Rosie Gray: no you can't Sudane
[10:28] Drewski Northman: nay
[10:28] Sudane Erato: :)
[10:29] Rosie Gray: hmmm, okay I vote nay as well
[10:29] Rosie Gray: so that would mean we go with La Speranza
[10:29] Sudane Erato: great!
[10:29] Rosie Gray: is that okay with all of you?
[10:29] Drewski Northman: yes ㋡
[10:29] Delia Lake: that one is ok with me
[10:29] Rosie Gray: great :D
[10:29] Sudane Erato: yes :)
[10:29] Lilith Ivory: I am more than fine with this too
[10:29] Rosie Gray: okay, let's move on
[10:29] Rosie Gray: and report on where we all are with the update projects
[10:30] Delia Lake: it's ok to have a little italian area in a german city
[10:30] Lilith Ivory: yes!
[10:30] Drewski Northman: little spice
[10:30] Rosie Gray: well the covenant says that CN is a mediterranean region
[10:30] Sudane Erato: Little Italy :)
[10:30] Rosie Gray: it's not meant to be German anyway
[10:30] Drewski Northman nods
[10:30] Tanoujin Milestone: Lilith, tell them how your mother warned you of the italians :D
[10:30] Sudane Erato: haha
[10:30] Rosie Gray: okay, I'll report on where I am with the forum update
[10:31] Lilith Ivory: lol , mom said I should not date italians as they would drag me through the room on my earrings
[10:31] Sudane Erato: hehe
[10:31] Rosie Gray: I've been working on a new building to replace the one where Gwyneth's is, and am almost finished. I have a few more textures to make still
[10:31] Sudane Erato: great!
[10:32] Rosie Gray: then I will ask you, Sudane, to coordinate with me so that I can put it down and you can move her stuff appropriately
[10:32] Sudane Erato: of course!
[10:32] Sudane Erato: has to be weekends
[10:32] Rosie Gray: then, my next task will be to contact Cindy about doing her building
[10:32] Rosie Gray: yes, maybe next weekend ㋡
[10:32] Sudane Erato: should be good
[10:32] Rosie Gray: if anyone would like to go and have a look at the building, it's on my work platform
[10:32] Rosie Gray: I can give you the LM if you want
[10:33] Rosie Gray: doors don't work yet, and a few textures still to do
[10:33] Delia Lake: I'd love a lm. I'm sure it will look great
[10:33] Rosie Gray: but I would welcome your feedback
[10:33] Lilith Ivory: yes please as I would like to see :)
[10:33] Rosie Gray: okay let me fish the LM
[10:33] Delia Lake: I will also send Cindy a fb rl note
[10:33] Delia Lake: ty
[10:33] Second Life: Rosie Gray gave you Rosie Building Platform over BS1 Alpine Meadow.
[10:33] Lilith Ivory: thank you
[10:33] Sudane Erato: thx!
[10:34] Tanoujin Milestone: ty
[10:34] Rosie Gray: ㋡
[10:34] Drewski Northman: thanks!
[10:34] Rosie Gray: let me know what you think, but it's not quite finished ;)
[10:34] Sudane Erato: np :)
[10:34] Delia Lake: ok :)
[10:34] Rosie Gray: who wants to go next?
[10:34] Delia Lake: I'll go
[10:34] Rosie Gray: okay
[10:35] Delia Lake: I have experimented with textures and sizing and will have most of the stairs and wall of the wall walkway fixed by the middle of this week
[10:35] Delia Lake: last week was too busy in rl
[10:36] Delia Lake: and I'm moving the snow melt up the hill
[10:36] Sudane Erato: you can say that again!
[10:36] Drewski Northman: goodbye snow! Now...do my town in RL
[10:36] Sudane Erato: hehe... yes!
[10:36] Rosie Gray: oh will AM and Mon welcome spring?
[10:36] Rosie Gray: haha, Drewski
[10:36] Delia Lake: Andromeda requested rain/thunderstorm so interestingly thunder is associated with the coming of spring ans waking of the hibernating animals in native american cultures
[10:37] Lilith Ivory: hehe
[10:37] Rosie Gray: might depend on where they are from
[10:37] Rosie Gray: ;)
[10:37] Sudane Erato: got to be careful with the rain-makers...
[10:37] Lilith Ivory: I like this idea if it does not make the regions too laggy
[10:37] Delia Lake: so I thought that not the next weekend but the one right before spring equinox maybe we would have a huge thunderstorm in NFS and Friedsee and melt all the snow
[10:37] Rosie Gray: rain for spring is perfect
[10:37] Sudane Erato: if they stay out they can be a bit laggy
[10:38] Delia Lake: it doesn't have to last long
[10:38] Rosie Gray: what about Monastery?
[10:38] Delia Lake: just be heavy rain and thunder for a while
[10:38] Sudane Erato: i love them myself... but some people leave them on all the time
[10:38] Lilith Ivory: I always enjoy your weather Delia
[10:38] Sudane Erato: yes! :)
[10:38] Rosie Gray: me too!
[10:38] Drewski Northman: weather might be a nice addition. I like it when its done well
[10:39] Rosie Gray: so much that I've bought that system myself
[10:39] Delia Lake: Monastery is matched up with AM so I think some more of the melting there should happen today and finish up next weekend
[10:39] Sudane Erato: yes, I use it a lot in new england... the botanical system
[10:39] Rosie Gray nods
[10:39] Delia Lake: yes
[10:39] Delia Lake: it's easy and seems to work well
[10:39] Drewski Northman: yeah, the Botanical one is really nice.
[10:40] Drewski Northman: not as laggy as others
[10:40] Rosie Gray: just have to be careful not to put the prims over things that people need to be able to click
[10:40] Rosie Gray: like benches and kiosks
[10:40] Delia Lake: you can raise up the prims once you put them out
[10:40] Lilith Ivory: it´s a good training about how to handle SL :)
[10:40] Delia Lake: that's what I try to do on the platz
[10:40] Rosie Gray nods
[10:40] Sudane Erato: ahh... yes
[10:41] Rosie Gray: I moved yours up some on the platz because I couldn't click on the benches I remember
[10:41] Rosie Gray: which is what made me think of it
[10:41] Delia Lake: that was a while ago I think. right now they should be high enough to not interfere with benches and chairs
[10:42] Sudane Erato: yeah... they are all enveloping prims when they are active
[10:42] Rosie Gray nods
[10:42] Rosie Gray: and with regards to the embankments, Delia? You are all finished with them now?
[10:42] Delia Lake: I haven't yet given Archie the partly melting partly snow textures yet byt will soon
[10:42] Lilith Ivory: I remember I had problems to click my carriage on the Platz but I prefer to have those little problems and having weather in addition
[10:43] Sudane Erato: :)
[10:43] Delia Lake: I think they are finished except for putting a little bit into Monastery when the ice melts off the lake. just enough to carry through the theme and be conscious of the need for low prim
[10:44] Rosie Gray: oh right
[10:44] Delia Lake: prim stingy
[10:44] Rosie Gray: yes ㋡
[10:44] Rosie Gray: I love the embankments, they have really improved the water areas
[10:45] Sudane Erato: yeah... the river looks great!
[10:45] Rosie Gray: and the ocean waves too
[10:45] Delia Lake: I told Rosie but want everyone to know that I'm putting the textures I use on the riverbanks into the banks themselves so anyone in the LV who's tasked with season change should be able to change the top textures
[10:45] Rosie Gray: one thing though I'm not so fond of... maybe it's just me, but I don't like the wishing well
[10:46] Delia Lake: oh, and I replaced that old cave on the corner of CN where that pocket beach is
[10:46] Rosie Gray: seems out of place to me
[10:46] Sudane Erato: oh my... interesting
[10:46] Delia Lake: have you tried sitting on top of the well?
[10:46] Rosie Gray: no
[10:46] Delia Lake: not really a wishing well, just an old well
[10:46] Delia Lake: it's a good place to sit :)
[10:47] Drewski Northman: there’s a cave??
[10:47] Rosie Gray: I am thinking that when someone buys the parcel there, that having such specific things might not go with what they have in mnind
[10:47] Rosie Gray: yes, small cave beside the ampthitheatre, corner of the sim
[10:47] Sudane Erato: the nude beach :)
[10:47] Delia Lake: the cave is on a pocket beach that is on the northeast corner
[10:47] Drewski Northman: huh, I have to go check that out!
[10:48] Sudane Erato: hehe
[10:48] Lilith Ivory: heheh
[10:48] Rosie Gray: haha
[10:48] Drewski Northman: we have a nude beach? Scandalous!
[10:48] Sudane Erato: :)
[10:48] Lilith Ivory: CDS is sneaky
[10:48] Sudane Erato: yep :)
[10:48] Delia Lake: you can also swim out beyond the sim line by clicking on a swimball in the water
[10:48] Sudane Erato: thats neat!
[10:49] Rosie Gray: it is
[10:49] Drewski Northman: that is very cool!
[10:49] Drewski Northman: wonder if we can swim all the way to the mainland....
[10:49] Delia Lake: you can do that off other beaches in the CDS. I've put out those on most beaches here
[10:49] Delia Lake: lol
[10:49] Delia Lake: no you can swim about 80m out
[10:49] Rosie Gray: nice!
[10:49] Drewski Northman: (yes I know thats not possible, just being silly)
[10:49] Delia Lake: it bothered me to have all that water around us and not be able to use it
[10:50] Drewski Northman: mhmm
[10:50] Sudane Erato: yeah :)
[10:50] Lilith Ivory: lol, I am sure my Avie would be able to walk over to the mainland when I am about to crash and start walking off sim
[10:50] Delia Lake: lol
[10:50] Sudane Erato: haha... yes
[10:50] Rosie Gray: hahaha
[10:50] Drewski Northman: walked many many miles that way
[10:50] Lilith Ivory: lol me too
[10:50] Delia Lake: for sure
[10:51] Tanoujin Milestone: with your shoes you-know-where
[10:51] Rosie Gray: any questions for Delia, or shall we move on?
[10:51] Drewski Northman: Nothing here.
[10:51] Rosie Gray: okay, hearing none
[10:51] Delia Lake: I think that's all I have. Oh, one more thing. I don't remember where they are but there are a few seasonal things like trees that are out but not set to LV share
[10:51] Delia Lake: if you find any of yours please fix those and if you find any I missed of mine please let me know
[10:52] Rosie Gray: Sudane or LIlith?
[10:52] Sudane Erato: well
[10:52] Sudane Erato: Lil and I are churning out stone huts :)
[10:52] Rosie Gray: lol, hardly huts!
[10:52] Sudane Erato: hehe
[10:52] Delia Lake passes safety glasses to Sudane and Lilith
[10:53] Lilith Ivory: I can already smell rotten fish while working on mine
[10:53] Sudane Erato: hehe... yeah
[10:53] Sudane Erato: i think we have about 7 now... counting those being worked on
[10:53] Lilith Ivory: I will most likely be able to put my second one down next weekend
[10:53] Sudane Erato: i just placed one
[10:53] Sudane Erato: yes... it looks great!
[10:53] Lilith Ivory smiles
[10:53] Rosie Gray: they all do!
[10:54] Sudane Erato: but i place them when the outside is presentable
[10:54] Sudane Erato: not done yet though
[10:54] Rosie Gray: that's appreciated, Sudane
[10:54] Lilith Ivory: and it looks like we have already people interesting in buying in the village
[10:54] Sudane Erato: yeah, the place has to stay looking good
[10:54] Tanoujin Milestone: it looks awesome so far!
[10:54] Drewski Northman nods
[10:54] Rosie Gray: I think that should be our policy, to not place anything until the outside is 'presentable'
[10:55] Drewski Northman: I took a peek there the other day when paying my tier. It’s coming along nicely
[10:55] Rosie Gray: I was thinking that the formerly least appreciated place in our sims has become one of the most desirable
[10:55] Sudane Erato: Rosie, yes... i'm adamant about thst
[10:55] Sudane Erato: the place must always look good
[10:55] Rosie Gray: agreed
[10:56] Drewski Northman: I’m loving all of the updates.
[10:56] Sudane Erato: thx :)
[10:56] Delia Lake: me too
[10:56] Rosie Gray: me as well
[10:56] Delia Lake: delightful to walk around now
[10:56] Lilith Ivory: agreed
[10:56] Sudane Erato: what i like especially is that Lil's and my places match
[10:56] Sudane Erato: we've managed to sync the looks
[10:56] Delia Lake: yes
[10:56] Rosie Gray: yes, it's a cohesive look!
[10:57] Rosie Gray: not so easy when there is more than one builder
[10:57] Sudane Erato: exactly!
[10:57] Sudane Erato: thats the only thing i was worried about
[10:57] Sudane Erato: but
[10:57] Drewski Northman: just goes to show how awesome our builders are
[10:57] Sudane Erato: we HAD to have more than just me building
[10:57] Rosie Gray nods
[10:57] Lilith Ivory smiles
[10:59] Rosie Gray: anything more to add?
[10:59] Sudane Erato: no... we'll just keep churning along :)
[10:59] Lilith Ivory: hehe and it´s good we build at the same platform so I can zoom down now and then to spy at your building ;-)
[10:59] Object: Tanoujin Milestone is away!
[10:59] Sudane Erato: haha... yes
[11:00] Delia Lake: lol
[11:00] Sudane Erato: and I spy on hers :)
[11:00] Rosie Gray: aha
[11:00] Lilith Ivory smiles
[11:00] Rosie Gray: I must come up and spy on you both!
[11:00] Lilith Ivory: hehe
[11:00] Sudane Erato: you are welcome!!!
[11:00] Rosie Gray: ㋡
[11:00] Rosie Gray: thanks
[11:00] Sudane Erato: we should put out cookies :)
[11:00] Sudane Erato: but
[11:00] Sudane Erato: the crows would probably eat them :)
[11:01] Rosie Gray: hehe
[11:01] Lilith Ivory: hehe
[11:01] Rosie Gray: okay if we are done with these reports
[11:01] Rosie Gray: I have been thinking about the reviews the LUC started, of all of the regions
[11:02] Rosie Gray: and was thinking that it might be a good idea to start doing them again
[11:02] Rosie Gray: what do you all think?
[11:02] Sudane Erato: reviews?
[11:02] Rosie Gray: yes, going systematically through the regions and writing reports on any issues you find
[11:02] Rosie Gray: such as things going against the covenants, or stuff that doesn't look right
[11:03] Sudane Erato: sounds great
[11:03] Lilith Ivory: yes
[11:03] Rosie Gray: and besides, Drewski needs an assignment ;)
[11:03] Sudane Erato: or things that need rebuilding
[11:03] Delia Lake: I think we need to do those reviews every couple of years as a matter of practice
[11:03] Rosie Gray: yes, exactly
[11:03] Sudane Erato: haha... yes! :)
[11:04] Rosie Gray: yes I agree Delia
[11:04] Rosie Gray: things can get pretty outdated if nobody is paying attention
[11:04] Delia Lake: we already have developed forms for doing that so we should look at those and mod them where it makes sense or if there is a way to simplify then
[11:04] Sudane Erato: well, certainly a lot of things need materials
[11:04] Rosie Gray: certainly they do, Sudane
[11:05] Rosie Gray: one area I've noticed could be updated is the dirt roads in LA
[11:05] Rosie Gray: not the texture which is really good, but the prims, because there are some hard lines where the prims meet
[11:05] Sudane Erato: yes
[11:05] Sudane Erato: yeah... that was a challenge
[11:06] Delia Lake: that could be a little terraforming on the edges
[11:06] Rosie Gray: no it's not terraforming
[11:06] Rosie Gray: it's where the prims meet
[11:06] Rosie Gray: and they are adjusted as well as they can be..
[11:06] Sudane Erato: they are regular prims... and what's really needed are the kind of mesh prims like what compose the new roads in the fishing village
[11:06] Delia Lake: also in the circle sitting area halfway up the hill I put out some sparse grass in that circle and that I think made a difference to the look of the dirt. forgot to mention that
[11:06] Sudane Erato: La Speranza
[11:06] Rosie Gray: yes exactly
[11:07] Delia Lake: yes new mesh walks would be good
[11:07] Sudane Erato: yeah... yes Delia... perfect
[11:07] Sudane Erato: but that area also could use the bumpier mesh
[11:07] Delia Lake: yes
[11:07] Rosie Gray: but not before you finish La Speranza!
[11:07] Sudane Erato: i'll experiment with that
[11:07] Sudane Erato: haha
[11:08] Sudane Erato: ok :)
[11:08] Rosie Gray: :D
[11:08] Rosie Gray: unless you feel like putting out the pieces and I could place them... but I can't afford to buy that kit
[11:08] Sudane Erato: lol... you get me excited to do all these things! :)
[11:08] Sudane Erato: oh
[11:08] Drewski Northman: sorry had to step afk a minute, just reading up. I do need an assignment lol
[11:08] Sudane Erato: thats an idea
[11:08] Drewski Northman: Will be happy to help with reports.
[11:08] Rosie Gray: lol, yay Drewski
[11:08] Sudane Erato: perfect!
[11:09] Rosie Gray: okay, yes I recall seeing some forms
[11:09] Rosie Gray: Delia, maybe you can find the link to it so we can include in this transcript?
[11:09] Delia Lake: yes
[11:09] Rosie Gray: thank you
[11:10] Delia Lake: if I crash I'll be back. I have a lot open right now
[11:10] Sudane Erato: hehe
[11:10] Rosie Gray: Drewski, if you could take the lead on the next sim review, and then ask one of us to join you as time permits for a walkabout perhaps
[11:11] Drewski Northman: Sure. Which sim needs to be reviewed next?
[11:11] Rosie Gray: I think 2 or 3 people on each review is a good idea
[11:11] Rosie Gray: oh, not sure
[11:11] Lilith Ivory: I agree Rosie
[11:11] Sudane Erato: any
[11:11] Rosie Gray: your choice, I would say
[11:11] Drewski Northman: Which was the last to be reviewed?
[11:12] Rosie Gray: it's been a while
[11:12] Rosie Gray: I don't know... let me see if I can tell
[11:12] Drewski Northman: Hmmm, ok.
[11:12] Object: Tanoujin Milestone is away!
[11:12] Delia Lake: it's been a few years maybe even 3 so they all should be reviewed
[11:12] Rosie Gray: do you remember which was the last one, Delia?
[11:13] Drewski Northman: Would it be good to start with Monestary?
[11:13] Rosie Gray: sounds fine to me
[11:13] Lilith Ivory: I´d start with LA as we have been working in NFS and CN lately and the other two regions are not much to talk about
[11:13] Lilith Ivory: (3 regions)
[11:13] Drewski Northman: ok, I can start with LA
[11:13] Rosie Gray: ㋡
[11:14] Rosie Gray: it's a good idea to read the covenants for each region, as you review them
[11:14] Rosie Gray: just to refresh on the requirements
[11:15] Drewski Northman nods
[11:15] Rosie Gray: you know where to find the covenants, on the website, yes?
[11:15] Rosie Gray: https://cdsdemocracy.org/cds-themes/
[11:15] Delia Lake: Looks like the most recent region review was spring of 2016, so 3 yrs old
[11:15] Delia Lake: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1bfc ... Elyb8/edit
[11:15] Rosie Gray: ah, lots will have changed since then
[11:16] Drewski Northman nods
[11:17] Delia Lake: most of old the LUC docs are here. https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/fold ... Vp4WDR5UGs
[11:18] Drewski Northman: sent for permission to view that
[11:18] Rosie Gray: thank you
[11:19] Rosie Gray: so we need a blank version of this review form
[11:19] Rosie Gray: is there one, Delia? or if not I can copy this one and remove the content
[11:22] Delia Lake: I didn't see a blank copy
[11:22] Delia Lake: I'm sure there is one but I don't know where
[11:22] Delia Lake: and we may need to change it a little
[11:22] Rosie Gray: okay I'll just use this one and make a blank
[11:22] Drewski Northman: so we will have to make a new one.
[11:23] Rosie Gray: yes for sure
[11:23] Delia Lake: this was developed maybe 5 yrs ago
[11:23] Rosie Gray: yes, but it's a good starting point
[11:23] Drewski Northman: Delia, can you give me access to the last google docs link? I sent an access request from [email protected]
[11:23] Drewski Northman: oh I see you did!
[11:24] Lilith Ivory: I just sent a request too :)
[11:24] Lilith Ivory: sorry I didn´t thinkabout looking atit in time
[11:26] Rosie Gray: I've just created a new doc and made sure to add everyone
[11:26] Delia Lake: very good
[11:26] Rosie Gray: j;ust editing it now
[11:26] Drewski Northman: Thanks
[11:28] Delia Lake: when we originally started this review, scale and textures not matching were found in various builds. not so much today I think but it used to be so
[11:28] Rosie Gray: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1u-L ... sp=sharing
[11:29] Drewski Northman: Thanks Rosie!
[11:29] Rosie Gray: this looks like a pretty good outline, and things can be added
[11:29] Drewski Northman nods
[11:29] Rosie Gray: ㋡
[11:30] Rosie Gray: any more comments or thoughts about this?
[11:30] Delia Lake: I'm good with it
[11:31] Lilith Ivory: me too
[11:31] Sudane Erato: looks good to me :)
[11:31] Rosie Gray: okay cool
[11:31] Drewski Northman: looks good here
[11:32] Rosie Gray: well if you can initiate the review then Drewski, and catch a couple of us to go with you as time permits
[11:32] Rosie Gray: maybe we could have 1 region review to look at in a couple of weeks
[11:32] Drewski Northman: ok thank you. That will help me as I go on with it.
[11:32] Sudane Erato: you might put it on a Sheet, instead of a Doc, so that each category could be on a separate tab
[11:33] Sudane Erato: might get very long
[11:33] Rosie Gray: that's a good idea, I'm a huge fan of spreadsheets :D
[11:33] Rosie Gray: could also embed them into this doc I guess
[11:33] Rosie Gray: but... maybe we leave that to your discretion, Drewski?
[11:33] Drewski Northman: lol I am no expert on spreadsheets, but I will fiddle with it
[11:34] Rosie Gray: okay
[11:34] Rosie Gray: not necessary, just a suggestion
[11:34] Rosie Gray: so, to move on
[11:34] Drewski Northman: ok ㋡
[11:34] Rosie Gray: does anyone else have something for this meeting?
[11:34] Rosie Gray: or are we ready to adjourn
[11:35] Sudane Erato: not that i want to discuss it again...
[11:35] Sudane Erato: but
[11:35] Sudane Erato: have we resolved the orb issue?
[11:35] Rosie Gray: oh I thought we had resolved to leave things as they are
[11:36] Rosie Gray: was I wrong?
[11:36] Sudane Erato: thats a good resolution
[11:36] Rosie Gray: ㋡
[11:36] Rosie Gray: anything else?
[11:37] Rosie Gray: okay, hearing none, I call this meeting adjourned
[11:37] Sudane Erato: next meeting?
[11:37] Delia Lake: good meeting. thanks
[11:37] Rosie Gray: right next meeting!
[11:37] Rosie Gray: let's try to find a time
[11:38] Drewski Northman: would around 10AM SLT on a Sunday work for everyone?
[11:38] Rosie Gray: how would Sunday March 24th work?
[11:38] Rosie Gray: yes, 10 am
[11:38] Sudane Erato: works for me
[11:38] Lilith Ivory: for me too
[11:38] Delia Lake: not for me. I'm flying from Albany to Atlanta for work at that time
[11:38] Rosie Gray: hmmm, okay
[11:38] Rosie Gray: and the weekend before I'm away too
[11:39] Rosie Gray: March 31st?
[11:39] Delia Lake: so I'll just have to catch up. not everyone can be at every meeting so it's ok
[11:39] Drewski Northman: 31st should work for me
[11:39] Delia Lake: 31 March is fine for me
[11:39] Lilith Ivory: for me too
[11:39] Sudane Erato: me too
[11:39] Rosie Gray: okay, sounds good
[11:39] Rosie Gray: we should have a lot accomplished by then!
[11:40] Delia Lake: yes :)
[11:40] Rosie Gray: Lilith, perhaps you can include the date of the next meeting in the transcript
[11:40] Drewski Northman: ok, then March 31st!
[11:40] Rosie Gray: yes!
[11:40] Lilith Ivory: yes I will
[11:40] Rosie Gray: thank you
[11:41] Rosie Gray: and thanks everyone for coming!
