What do you say that we adopt the following as our common position on the issue of constitutional revision:
The RA will establish a Constitutional Revision Commission, which will work through a period of 3 months to accomplish the following:
1) Proposing and inserting as a supplementary part of the founding philosophy a vision for what we want our society to be
2) Going through the constitution and revising each article with a view to simplifying the language to make it accessible to everyone
3) Identifying parts of the constitution, which can be feasibly be taken out and if necessary turned into a seperate act?
4) Identifying parts of the constitution that could favourably be afforded extra protection in the form of 'entrenchment'
Is there a need for such a process?
