It is with sadness that I must announce to our community the passing of our dear friend and citizen, Soro Dagostino, Professor of the Scientific Council of the Confederation of Democratic Simulators. Probably almost two months ago, I sent Soro a letter via regular mail thanking him for his friendship and service to our community. I received the attached letter in response. There a family member writes that Soro passed on August 7th.
I am sure many of us will fondly remember Soro for his work for the community, his love of sailing, long standing commitment to the CDS, sense of humor and friendship.
In RL and in SL, Soro was an avid sailor. I think much of his time was spent on the linden seas and he kept a home near the Blake Sea for many years.
Fair winds and calms seas dear friend. May you Rest In Peace.
