1 Opening of the 40th Term by the Dean of the Scientific Council
In the absence of a representative from the Scientific Council, motion to start the meeting with the previous Representative Assembly Leader, Almut Brunswick, acting as Chair. Rosie 1st, Jerry 2nd, all in favour, motion carried.
1.1 Swearing in the by-elected RA member
Postponed.
1.2 Election of RA Officers
1.2.1 Election of the RA Leader
Almut called for nominations for the position of Leader of the Representative Assembly. Sandy nominated Almut, Rosie seconded the nomination, Almut was unanimously elected LRA.
1.2.2 Election of the ProTempore RA Leader
Almut nominated Rosie, Sandy seconded the nomination, Rosie was unanimously elected LRA Pro Tempore.
1.2.3 Election of the Archivist
Rosie nominated Jerry, Sandy seconded the nomination, Jerry was unanimously elected RA Archivist.
2 Administrative Business
2.1 Approval of the Agenda
Motion to approve the agenda as presented. Jerry 1st, Rosie 2nd, all in favour, motion carried.
2.2 Review and approval of the Minutes of the Eighth RA Meeting of the 39th Term, Saturday, November 19, 2023
Motion to approve the minutes as presented. Rosie 1st, Sandy 2nd, all in favour, motion carried.
3 New Business
3.1 Call for a MoCA Curator
A call was made for a MoCA Curator. Kyoko volunteered, but it was decided to put out a call to all CDS citizens for applications. Motion that the LRA places a call for a MoCA Curator as soon as possible, to vote on at the next RA meeting. Almut 1st, Rosie 2nd, all in favour, motion carried.
