In accord with CDSL 20-02 By-Election Procedures Act, the Scientific Council has declared that the CDS will have a by-election to fill the RA seat vacated by the resignation of Han Held. The Official Census of Citizens conducted December 26, 2021 will be used for both eligibility to run for office and for voting in this election. The successful candidate will serve for the remainder of the 36th Term of Office. The dates for this by-election are as follows:
Jan 2 - Call for declarations of candidacy
Jan 9 - Period for declarations closes ,
Jan 9 - Citizen Census list declared final and accepted
Jan 17 - Candidate campaigning begins
Jan 29 - Polls open
Feb 5 - Polls close
