Pat provided an agenda wit topics to discuss:

1. What is the current role and remit of the LUC as we understand it? How does this interact with our current laws and Constitution?
2. What is the work programme of the LUC?
3. What does the Chancellor need from the LUC in the form of advice and assistance?
4. How should the LUC work with the Executive team (Chancellor, Vice Chancellor and PIOs)?
5. Any other business

Discussion was centered around draft of a Procedures Document https://docs.google.com/document/d/1nAc ... sp=sharing and the law that created the LUC http://portal.slcds.info/index.php/bran ... e-of-laws/ (CDSL 21-01). anti moves the comission take a look at the procedured document and open it again in a week. Rosie seconds and the motion carries.

Pat departs and the LUC turns to the election of a chairperson. EM motions that we choose Rosie as chairperson of LUC, and Timo as an alternate. anti seconds and the motion passes.

Rosie mentions the 2 proposales for the new sim. One is at and the other Rosie moves that the commissioners all review the sim proposals and be prepared to discuss them in 1 week. anti seconds and the motion passes.

Rosie moves that the commissioners review the General Master Plan procedures, and make comments on it, within 1 week. anti seconds and the motion carries.

anti moves that the LUC readjourn on Sunday, February 1. Rosie seconds and the motion carries.

Timo moves to adjourn the meeting, anti seconds and the motion carries.

Meeting is adjourned at 10:35 SLT.
