[2020/01/26 10:10] Rosie Gray: okay it is 10 minutes past the hour, I call this meeting to order
[2020/01/26 10:10] Rosie Gray: here is the Agenda: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1vIq ... lVlTA/edit
[2020/01/26 10:11] Rosie Gray: since we don't have Cathy here to take the transcript and write some Minutes, is there anyone else who can do that?
[2020/01/26 10:12] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): I can, i have done it in RL , but maybe need to get some advice on how to copy?
[2020/01/26 10:12] Rosie Gray: that would be most appreciated Mizou, thank you
[2020/01/26 10:12] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): i just copy here in chat?
[2020/01/26 10:12] Rosie Gray: yes if you keep the transcript
[2020/01/26 10:13] Rosie Gray: well no that's not the easiest way
[2020/01/26 10:13] Rosie Gray: the easiest way is to just initiate keeping all your transcripts
[2020/01/26 10:13] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): then post it on the forum, then make the bullet points?
[2020/01/26 10:13] Rosie Gray: how about I pass my transcript to you after the meeting
[2020/01/26 10:13] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): ok thanks
[2020/01/26 10:13] Rosie Gray: and then I can help you with the rest
[2020/01/26 10:13] Rosie Gray: thanks!
[2020/01/26 10:13] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): okido thanks Rosie
[2020/01/26 10:14] Rosie Gray: since it doesn't look like we will have Cathy returning to do this
[2020/01/26 10:14] Rosie Gray: okay, does anyone have anything to add to the Agenda, before we approve it?
[2020/01/26 10:14] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): no from me
[2020/01/26 10:15] Sudane Erato: or from me
[2020/01/26 10:15] Rosie Gray: and Sudane already said no
[2020/01/26 10:15] Rosie Gray: Delia?
[2020/01/26 10:15] Rosie Gray: poor Delia is having connection issues I think
[2020/01/26 10:15] Sudane Erato: yeah :(
[2020/01/26 10:15] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): she is hiding in her chair
[2020/01/26 10:16] Sudane Erato: :)
[2020/01/26 10:16] Rosie Gray: Can we have a motion to approve the Agenda?
[2020/01/26 10:16] Sudane Erato: so move
[2020/01/26 10:16] Rosie Gray: thank you
[2020/01/26 10:16] Rosie Gray: and a second?
[2020/01/26 10:16] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): second
[2020/01/26 10:16] Rosie Gray: thank you
[2020/01/26 10:16] Rosie Gray: vote
[2020/01/26 10:16] Rosie Gray: aye
[2020/01/26 10:16] Sudane Erato: aye
[2020/01/26 10:16] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): aye
[2020/01/26 10:16] Rosie Gray: /me tries Delia with a poke
[2020/01/26 10:17] Rosie Gray: hmmm
[2020/01/26 10:17] Delia Lake: aye
[2020/01/26 10:17] Rosie Gray: thank you
[2020/01/26 10:17] Rosie Gray: we do not have Minutes from the last meeting to approve, so moving on to Old Business
[2020/01/26 10:17] Rosie Gray: Alpine Meadow Upgrade
[2020/01/26 10:18] Rosie Gray: now we have had the posting of the proposed changes that Lilith made
[2020/01/26 10:18] Rosie Gray: and they are approved by the Chancellor and nobody else has made any comment
[2020/01/26 10:18] Rosie Gray: we can move forward with those
[2020/01/26 10:19] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): where are they posted?
[2020/01/26 10:19] Rosie Gray: but I think the next step is to decide about the large parcel
[2020/01/26 10:19] Rosie Gray: on the forum
[2020/01/26 10:19] Sudane Erato: Ritchie did say in the mtg yesterday that he supported them
[2020/01/26 10:19] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): ok
[2020/01/26 10:19] Rosie Gray: /me nods
[2020/01/26 10:20] Rosie Gray: fyi Mizou, any major changes to the regions have to be posted to the forums at least 1 week in advance of proceeding, to give time for citizens to give feedback
[2020/01/26 10:20] Rosie Gray: and of course must be approved by the Chancellor
[2020/01/26 10:20] Rosie Gray: so we've covered that ground :)
[2020/01/26 10:20] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): ok read them
[2020/01/26 10:21] Rosie Gray: now, any thoughts about the large parcel re-parcelling?
[2020/01/26 10:21] Rosie Gray: we have discussed it before
[2020/01/26 10:21] Sudane Erato: we should probably do it
[2020/01/26 10:21] Rosie Gray: I guess we need a drawing to illustrate the idea
[2020/01/26 10:22] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): /me agrees
[2020/01/26 10:22] Rosie Gray: so, for the next meeting should we aim for drawings to discuss?
[2020/01/26 10:22] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): /me agrees
[2020/01/26 10:23] Sudane Erato: who can do them?
[2020/01/26 10:23] Rosie Gray: I can, but if anyone else wants to as well
[2020/01/26 10:23] Rosie Gray: or a collaboration perhaps
[2020/01/26 10:23] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): I have no idea how to, i must admit
[2020/01/26 10:24] Rosie Gray: how about I have a stab at it and post and share them for feedback on g docs?
[2020/01/26 10:24] Sudane Erato: that would be great!
[2020/01/26 10:24] Rosie Gray: okay ㋡
[2020/01/26 10:25] Rosie Gray: and I will do the mews removal and reparcelling, and the sim side adjustments hopefully this week
[2020/01/26 10:25] Rosie Gray: will try not to leave a mess during the process
[2020/01/26 10:25] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): :)
[2020/01/26 10:25] Sudane Erato: hehe... no plywood leavings and mess :)
[2020/01/26 10:25] Rosie Gray: :D
[2020/01/26 10:25] Rosie Gray: Sudane, you have some pathways to put down?
[2020/01/26 10:26] Sudane Erato: once there's new parceling, I'm happy to do that
[2020/01/26 10:26] Sudane Erato: kind of needs the parceling first
[2020/01/26 10:26] Rosie Gray: yes it does
[2020/01/26 10:27] Rosie Gray: maybe it's possible to make the pathways narrow and a bit windy, so as to enhance the rural feel
[2020/01/26 10:27] Sudane Erato: oh... ok... so nout the existing road material...?
[2020/01/26 10:27] Rosie Gray: yeah
[2020/01/26 10:27] Rosie Gray: remember we talked about them being more like dirt paths
[2020/01/26 10:27] Rosie Gray: I think you have some mesh ones, no?
[2020/01/26 10:27] Sudane Erato: ok... yes... i do
[2020/01/26 10:27] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): /me loves the dirt paths
[2020/01/26 10:27] Sudane Erato: yes
[2020/01/26 10:27] Rosie Gray: ㋡
[2020/01/26 10:28] Rosie Gray: perfect
[2020/01/26 10:28] Sudane Erato: but Mizou... they get your boots all muddy!
[2020/01/26 10:28] Rosie Gray: heheh
[2020/01/26 10:28] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): ahh well, lol
[2020/01/26 10:28] Rosie Gray: not to mention your stiletoes!
[2020/01/26 10:28] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): lol
[2020/01/26 10:28] Rosie Gray: :D
[2020/01/26 10:28] Sudane Erato: god yes... impassable in those!
[2020/01/26 10:29] Rosie Gray: okay, lol
[2020/01/26 10:29] Rosie Gray: any questions from anyone or more thoughts before we move on?
[2020/01/26 10:29] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): none
[2020/01/26 10:29] Sudane Erato: oh
[2020/01/26 10:29] Sudane Erato: yes
[2020/01/26 10:29] Sudane Erato: early on there was a discussion of getting rid of steps
[2020/01/26 10:30] Sudane Erato: i wasn't in favor... but many were
[2020/01/26 10:30] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): /me is wondering which steps
[2020/01/26 10:30] Sudane Erato: are we still trying to do that?
[2020/01/26 10:30] Sudane Erato: steps in the roadway
[2020/01/26 10:30] Rosie Gray: well I think the steps are further down, between the Mexana Monica and Tor's parcel
[2020/01/26 10:30] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): oh, has it been mentioned as a problem?
[2020/01/26 10:30] Sudane Erato: so motor vehicles don't break their axels
[2020/01/26 10:30] Rosie Gray: yeah
[2020/01/26 10:30] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): ah
[2020/01/26 10:31] Delia Lake: I never see any motor vehicles here in the CDS. It's fine for horses the way it is
[2020/01/26 10:31] Rosie Gray: and because roads don't tend to have steps
[2020/01/26 10:31] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): /me sees the logic
[2020/01/26 10:31] Sudane Erato: they do in some countries
[2020/01/26 10:31] Sudane Erato: (Greece)
[2020/01/26 10:31] Rosie Gray: not big wide rural roads I think
[2020/01/26 10:31] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): :)
[2020/01/26 10:32] Rosie Gray: I know they do in narrow city streets
[2020/01/26 10:32] Rosie Gray: but I do understand that just removing the steps where they are now without also reterraforming and rearranging parcels would leave the road extremely steep
[2020/01/26 10:32] Sudane Erato: yes
[2020/01/26 10:33] Rosie Gray: so we leave it for now?
[2020/01/26 10:33] Sudane Erato: that would be my feeling
[2020/01/26 10:33] Sudane Erato: but i just wanted to see where it stood
[2020/01/26 10:33] Rosie Gray: /me nods
[2020/01/26 10:33] Rosie Gray: anyone else re the road steps?
[2020/01/26 10:34] Rosie Gray: okay
[2020/01/26 10:34] Rosie Gray: moving on then to item B
[2020/01/26 10:34] Rosie Gray: Locus Amoenus waterfront bridge adjustments (Sudane and Cathy)
[2020/01/26 10:34] Rosie Gray: Sudane?
[2020/01/26 10:34] Sudane Erato: well
[2020/01/26 10:34] Sudane Erato: as i said yesterday...
[2020/01/26 10:35] Sudane Erato: Cathy and I have discussed this a few times
[2020/01/26 10:35] Sudane Erato: the most recent drawing she did
[2020/01/26 10:35] Sudane Erato: re-arranged a bit the central plaza area by the water
[2020/01/26 10:35] Sudane Erato: and slightly moved the bridge
[2020/01/26 10:35] Sudane Erato: but
[2020/01/26 10:36] Sudane Erato: I suggested that why slightly move the bridge... since everyone wanted it
[2020/01/26 10:36] Sudane Erato: so we devised a plaz modification with no bridge movement
[2020/01/26 10:36] Sudane Erato: she was going to re-draw that
[2020/01/26 10:36] Sudane Erato: and hasn't been able to
[2020/01/26 10:37] Sudane Erato: so thats where it stands
[2020/01/26 10:37] Rosie Gray: do you want to carry on with this, yourself?
[2020/01/26 10:37] Sudane Erato: well
[2020/01/26 10:37] Sudane Erato: sure... but
[2020/01/26 10:37] Sudane Erato: I'd really like to see if Cathy re-surfaces sometime soon
[2020/01/26 10:37] Sudane Erato: i think we have no idea
[2020/01/26 10:38] Rosie Gray: should we table it for now then?
[2020/01/26 10:38] Sudane Erato: and i do know she was attached to doing it
[2020/01/26 10:38] Sudane Erato: fine with me
[2020/01/26 10:39] Rosie Gray: Motion to table Locus Amoenus waterfront bridge adjustments until Cathy has time to spend on it.
[2020/01/26 10:39] Sudane Erato: I can always pick it up in the future if need be
[2020/01/26 10:39] Sudane Erato: second
[2020/01/26 10:39] Rosie Gray: any more discussion?
[2020/01/26 10:39] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): no
[2020/01/26 10:39] Rosie Gray: vote
[2020/01/26 10:39] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): aye
[2020/01/26 10:39] Sudane Erato: aye
[2020/01/26 10:39] Rosie Gray: aye
[2020/01/26 10:39] Rosie Gray: Delia?
[2020/01/26 10:39] Delia Lake: aye
[2020/01/26 10:40] Rosie Gray: thanks, motion carried
[2020/01/26 10:40] Rosie Gray: item C: Map of public spaces, what they are intended for and how people can register to use them (Delia)
[2020/01/26 10:40] Delia Lake: I've not finished. Getting close though
[2020/01/26 10:40] Delia Lake: the only place with no current public spaces other than around the small lakes is AM
[2020/01/26 10:41] Rosie Gray: /me nods
[2020/01/26 10:41] Rosie Gray: one of the reasons we need that community centre
[2020/01/26 10:41] Delia Lake: I agree
[2020/01/26 10:41] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): agreed
[2020/01/26 10:41] Rosie Gray: Delia, Pip said he wouldn't mind helping you with the list
[2020/01/26 10:41] Rosie Gray: if you need any help
[2020/01/26 10:42] Delia Lake: ok. I'll try to catch him in the morning and tell him how I'm doing this
[2020/01/26 10:42] Rosie Gray: great ㋡
[2020/01/26 10:42] Rosie Gray: that will be useful
[2020/01/26 10:42] Rosie Gray: have you thought about what to do with the list once you've got it all sorted?
[2020/01/26 10:43] Delia Lake: yes. I think it should be in a sign at least in the Rathaus but probably on the CDS offices of each region
[2020/01/26 10:43] Delia Lake: as well as on the forum
[2020/01/26 10:44] Rosie Gray: and the website I should think too
[2020/01/26 10:44] Delia Lake: yes
[2020/01/26 10:44] Rosie Gray: with SLURs
[2020/01/26 10:44] Delia Lake: for sure with slurs
[2020/01/26 10:44] Sudane Erato: :)
[2020/01/26 10:44] Rosie Gray: and pictures?
[2020/01/26 10:45] Delia Lake: for instance in the Schloss, there is more than one public space so more than one slurl
[2020/01/26 10:45] Rosie Gray: /me nods
[2020/01/26 10:45] Delia Lake: Kirche also
[2020/01/26 10:46] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): :)
[2020/01/26 10:46] Rosie Gray: okay, anything else?
[2020/01/26 10:46] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): no
[2020/01/26 10:46] Rosie Gray: okay thank you
[2020/01/26 10:46] Rosie Gray: now D. Monastery Sim
[2020/01/26 10:47] Rosie Gray: any more thoughts about this? do we want to proceed with making some plans or table it for now?
[2020/01/26 10:47] Sudane Erato: well
[2020/01/26 10:47] Sudane Erato: Tan is paying on it now, and Lil is creating a new Monastery ruin in our workshop
[2020/01/26 10:47] Sudane Erato: so
[2020/01/26 10:47] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): oh good,
[2020/01/26 10:48] Sudane Erato: it seems that for now there is a plan... so long as Tan owns it
[2020/01/26 10:48] Rosie Gray: yes and plans to make it into a nightclub I think
[2020/01/26 10:48] Sudane Erato: yes
[2020/01/26 10:48] Rosie Gray: which would be fun!
[2020/01/26 10:48] Delia Lake: wow. that would be fun
[2020/01/26 10:48] Sudane Erato: a Monastery nightclub :)
[2020/01/26 10:48] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): really?
[2020/01/26 10:48] Rosie Gray: so, drop this item?
[2020/01/26 10:49] Delia Lake: with locally produced wine and beer
[2020/01/26 10:49] Rosie Gray: hehe, of course!
[2020/01/26 10:49] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): :)
[2020/01/26 10:49] Sudane Erato: well... pending some sense of how long Tan intends to hold on to it
[2020/01/26 10:49] Rosie Gray: he did say initially that it would be for 3 months
[2020/01/26 10:49] Rosie Gray: but maybe it goes longer if it is a success and there are donations
[2020/01/26 10:49] Sudane Erato: ahhh
[2020/01/26 10:50] Sudane Erato: oh... well thats generally a frustrated hope
[2020/01/26 10:50] Rosie Gray: :(
[2020/01/26 10:50] Rosie Gray: so I guess we keep this item on the Agenda
[2020/01/26 10:51] Sudane Erato: maybe take it off and re-add when needed
[2020/01/26 10:51] Rosie Gray: okay with me
[2020/01/26 10:51] Rosie Gray: do you want to make that a motion?
[2020/01/26 10:52] Sudane Erato: ok... sure... I move we remove the Monastery project from the LUC agenda
[2020/01/26 10:52] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): second
[2020/01/26 10:52] Rosie Gray: thank you
[2020/01/26 10:52] Rosie Gray: any more discussion?
[2020/01/26 10:52] Rosie Gray: seeing none, let's vote
[2020/01/26 10:52] Sudane Erato: aye
[2020/01/26 10:52] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): aye
[2020/01/26 10:52] Delia Lake: aye
[2020/01/26 10:52] Rosie Gray: aye
[2020/01/26 10:52] Rosie Gray: motion carried
[2020/01/26 10:53] Rosie Gray: okay, new business
[2020/01/26 10:53] Rosie Gray: Update from members
[2020/01/26 10:53] Rosie Gray: Delia, do you want to start?
[2020/01/26 10:53] Delia Lake: yes
[2020/01/26 10:53] Delia Lake: first though we don't need to decide today, when should we start spring season change over this year?
[2020/01/26 10:54] Sudane Erato: yes!!
[2020/01/26 10:54] Rosie Gray: oooo
[2020/01/26 10:54] Delia Lake: it used to be that we waited until spring equinox but the last few years it has been earlier
[2020/01/26 10:54] Rosie Gray: everyone gets tired of the snow by the end of January
[2020/01/26 10:54] Sudane Erato: in new england we use valentines day
[2020/01/26 10:54] Delia Lake: I've been easing in season change over a couple of week period each time

[2020/01/26 10:54] Rosie Gray: oh I do like that idea, Sudane
[2020/01/26 10:55] Sudane Erato: yes... Delia... you are very disciplined with that!! :)
[2020/01/26 10:56] Delia Lake: If we want spring by Feb 15 I need to start during the first week of Feb
[2020/01/26 10:56] Sudane Erato: or perhaps START spring by Feb 14
[2020/01/26 10:56] Rosie Gray: /me nods
[2020/01/26 10:56] Delia Lake: that might make more sense
[2020/01/26 10:57] Delia Lake: then CN and LA would see a few early flowers for valentine's
[2020/01/26 10:57] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): /me nods
[2020/01/26 10:57] Sudane Erato: crocuses :)
[2020/01/26 10:57] Rosie Gray: I think they already have flowers
[2020/01/26 10:58] Rosie Gray: but maybe not spring flowers
[2020/01/26 10:58] Delia Lake: snow drops, crocuses by the galore
[2020/01/26 10:58] Delia Lake: maybe even a few early tulips
[2020/01/26 10:59] Rosie Gray: sounds good
[2020/01/26 10:59] Delia Lake: are we agreed to start Spring on Valentine's day?
[2020/01/26 10:59] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): sounds good
[2020/01/26 10:59] Rosie Gray: /me nods
[2020/01/26 10:59] Sudane Erato: yes! :)
[2020/01/26 10:59] Rosie Gray: but the Chancellor is usually the one to say
[2020/01/26 10:59] Rosie Gray: has she said anything?
[2020/01/26 11:00] Sudane Erato: we can convey our advice to her
[2020/01/26 11:00] Delia Lake: thank you. I'll talk with Emilia. She said at the beginning of winter that I should handle this but I will consult with her this week
[2020/01/26 11:00] Sudane Erato: great!:)
[2020/01/26 11:00] Rosie Gray: great :)
[2020/01/26 11:00] Rosie Gray: anything else from you Delia?
[2020/01/26 11:00] Delia Lake: not right now
[2020/01/26 11:01] Rosie Gray: okay thank you delia
[2020/01/26 11:01] Rosie Gray: Mizou, how about you
[2020/01/26 11:01] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): yes i agree
[2020/01/26 11:01] Rosie Gray: no, I mean it's your turn to give us an update on what you're doing
[2020/01/26 11:01] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): oh sorry
[2020/01/26 11:02] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): I am in a very dry inspiration period
[2020/01/26 11:02] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): So i am still chasing inspiration for the build on CN on Cardo
[2020/01/26 11:03] Sudane Erato: :)
[2020/01/26 11:03] Rosie Gray: do you want a different project, perhaps?
[2020/01/26 11:03] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): apart from that, Lilith gave me a class in EM- ship and I am starting to work on that, after Sudane gave me access to Casperlet
[2020/01/26 11:03] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): maybe something easier yes
[2020/01/26 11:03] Rosie Gray: oh yes! great!
[2020/01/26 11:04] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): anything easy that needs to be done?
[2020/01/26 11:04] Rosie Gray: hmmm... what other smaller build projects do we need done that Mizou could do?
[2020/01/26 11:04] Rosie Gray: I can't think of anything myself off hand
[2020/01/26 11:05] Rosie Gray: maybe you want to look around the sims and find things that need doing, make notes and bring them to the next LUC meeting?
[2020/01/26 11:05] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): ok i can do that
[2020/01/26 11:06] Rosie Gray: I don't know how you feel about making bridges, but there are some really old ones that need replacing
[2020/01/26 11:06] Rosie Gray: as an idea
[2020/01/26 11:06] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): yes sure, nver made one but can give it a try
[2020/01/26 11:06] Rosie Gray: well have a look anyway, and if you look at the notes to do with Alpine Meadow
[2020/01/26 11:06] Rosie Gray: Map of public spaces, what they are intended for and how people can register to use them (Delia)
[2020/01/26 11:06] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): ok
[2020/01/26 11:07] Rosie Gray: oops
[2020/01/26 11:07] Rosie Gray: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1d4U ... jm9jv741nd
[2020/01/26 11:07] Rosie Gray: meant to paste that

[2020/01/26 11:07] Rosie Gray: item 8
[2020/01/26 11:07] Rosie Gray: and 11
[2020/01/26 11:08] Delia Lake: old bridges on the AM path are from 2007
[2020/01/26 11:08] Rosie Gray: yes, item 13
[2020/01/26 11:08] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): thats 3 bridges yes?
[2020/01/26 11:08] Rosie Gray: so there are 3 bridges that need to be rebuilt
[2020/01/26 11:08] Sudane Erato: yes
[2020/01/26 11:08] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): ok i can have a look
[2020/01/26 11:08] Rosie Gray: :)
[2020/01/26 11:08] Rosie Gray: anything else from you?
[2020/01/26 11:09] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): from me no
[2020/01/26 11:09] Rosie Gray: okay thank you Mizou
[2020/01/26 11:09] Rosie Gray: Sudane?
[2020/01/26 11:09] Sudane Erato: oh
[2020/01/26 11:10] Sudane Erato: well, i'm supposed to be working on the two builds in NW CN
[2020/01/26 11:10] Sudane Erato: and then the two temples
[2020/01/26 11:10] Sudane Erato: I have the first one in my shop
[2020/01/26 11:10] Sudane Erato: so... had made some progress
[2020/01/26 11:10] Rosie Gray: ㋡
[2020/01/26 11:10] Sudane Erato: but i'm a bit stalled
[2020/01/26 11:11] Sudane Erato: I DID do the census mechanism project
[2020/01/26 11:11] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): /me knows how that feels
[2020/01/26 11:11] Sudane Erato: thats almost done
[2020/01/26 11:11] Sudane Erato: but I do have to get back to the CN builds
[2020/01/26 11:11] Sudane Erato: sooner or later i will
[2020/01/26 11:11] Sudane Erato: when those are done, i hope to go back to densifying NFS (in the walls)
[2020/01/26 11:12] Rosie Gray: /me nods
[2020/01/26 11:12] Sudane Erato: so thats it for me
[2020/01/26 11:12] Rosie Gray: sounds good :)
[2020/01/26 11:12] Rosie Gray: and for me
[2020/01/26 11:12] Rosie Gray: I'm almost finished adding normal and specular maps to the Schloss build
[2020/01/26 11:13] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): /me nods
[2020/01/26 11:13] Delia Lake: Great!
[2020/01/26 11:13] Sudane Erato: looks amazing
[2020/01/26 11:13] Rosie Gray: have a few more spaces there to do, especially all of the hidden areas
[2020/01/26 11:13] Rosie Gray: I do think it's added an amazing amount of depth to the build
[2020/01/26 11:13] Rosie Gray: and along the way I've found little build errors to fix ;)
[2020/01/26 11:13] Sudane Erato: hehe
[2020/01/26 11:13] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): :)
[2020/01/26 11:14] Rosie Gray: also will make mesh steps to replace the sculpty ones that lead up to the ballroom
[2020/01/26 11:14] Rosie Gray: and, let's see
[2020/01/26 11:14] Delia Lake: my young rl dog insists he needs to go out so I'll sit here but won't be here
[2020/01/26 11:15] Rosie Gray: what I would like to do also is make a couple of new fachwerks to use as backups,
[2020/01/26 11:15] Rosie Gray: okay Delia
[2020/01/26 11:15] Rosie Gray: and to replace along the platz as the parcels become available... I'd like to include a couple with the murals on them that the fachwerks have
[2020/01/26 11:15] Rosie Gray: can't remember the name of those murals ;)
[2020/01/26 11:16] Rosie Gray: I'm sure Almut knows what they are called
[2020/01/26 11:16] Rosie Gray: that's about it for me
[2020/01/26 11:16] Almut Brunswick: Frescos or paintigs?
[2020/01/26 11:16] Rosie Gray: well yes that's what they are, but they have a special name
[2020/01/26 11:16] Rosie Gray: anyway, doesn't matter
[2020/01/26 11:17] Rosie Gray: Almut, do you have any comments you'd like to make, or questions?
[2020/01/26 11:17] Sudane Erato: Lüftlmalerei
[2020/01/26 11:17] Rosie Gray: that's it!
[2020/01/26 11:17] Rosie Gray: thanks Sudane :D
[2020/01/26 11:17] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): :)
[2020/01/26 11:17] Sudane Erato: I have a folder of pix of them
[2020/01/26 11:17] Rosie Gray: me too ;)
[2020/01/26 11:17] Almut Brunswick: Lüftlmalerei is common in Southern Germany, though mostly on plastered buildings, not on Fachwerk hopuses
[2020/01/26 11:18] Almut Brunswick: houses
[2020/01/26 11:18] Almut Brunswick: Well, first of all thank you for having me here as a silent guest:)
[2020/01/26 11:18] Rosie Gray: ㋡
[2020/01/26 11:18] Sudane Erato: no need to be silent :)
[2020/01/26 11:19] Almut Brunswick: I cannt say much about most of the topics you were discussing though
[2020/01/26 11:19] Almut Brunswick: On my behalf, I'm going to focus on creating one or two Fachwerk houses based on templates from my RL place
[2020/01/26 11:20] Sudane Erato: neat!
[2020/01/26 11:20] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): nice!
[2020/01/26 11:20] Almut Brunswick: I'm living in Northern Germany in the city of Braunschweig where we still have a number of nice Fachwerk houses
[2020/01/26 11:20] Rosie Gray: /me nods
[2020/01/26 11:21] Almut Brunswick: One shall eventually replace the one I'm currently using as store
[2020/01/26 11:21] Rosie Gray: sounds good
[2020/01/26 11:21] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): :)
[2020/01/26 11:21] Almut Brunswick: It will be 100% mesh of course
[2020/01/26 11:21] Rosie Gray: when you have it ready for inspection, do let us know
[2020/01/26 11:21] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): /e loves that idea
[2020/01/26 11:22] Almut Brunswick: Yes, this is my plan
[2020/01/26 11:22] Rosie Gray: that old one can sure use an update :D
[2020/01/26 11:22] Almut Brunswick: Well, I'm missing showcases and a more reasonable usage of the interior.
[2020/01/26 11:23] Almut Brunswick: So this will be the base of the new design along with an optical improvement
[2020/01/26 11:23] Sudane Erato: sounds great! :)
[2020/01/26 11:24] Rosie Gray: anything else, Almut?
[2020/01/26 11:24] Almut Brunswick: that 's it from my side so far
[2020/01/26 11:24] Rosie Gray: thank you
[2020/01/26 11:24] Rosie Gray: Lyubov, how about you?
[2020/01/26 11:24] Lyubov (20180414 Resident): Thank you Rosie, and thank you LUC :) I would like to make several brief comments about items that were discussed today.
[2020/01/26 11:24] Rosie Gray: please do
[2020/01/26 11:25] Lyubov (20180414 Resident): I am thrilled to see work on AM. This area is in great need of help and it holds the most potential for growth (profit potential).
[2020/01/26 11:26] Lyubov (20180414 Resident): I would love to see work on the LA bridge area, especially the northern terminus at the harbor side. As has been discussed before, it is an ill-fitting mixture of builds. I would love to help on this project, but my time is quite limited right now.
[2020/01/26 11:27] Lyubov (20180414 Resident): The Map of Public Spaces is essential. Especially the slurls, a good description, and it must include Photos. This should be on the Portal, and relevant visitor spaces in CDS. Also very useful for our marketing efforts and new citizen outreach.
[2020/01/26 11:28] Rosie Gray: /me nods
[2020/01/26 11:29] Lyubov (20180414 Resident): Lastly, it is so generous and exciting for Tan to take on the Monastery for now. I do fear that we cannot expect that to be able to continue indefinitely. It might be good for Lilith's new ruin to be on, or easily adapted to, public land, so that if the time comes to reparcel the main Monastery parcel, the ruin remains in a sustainable public space.
[2020/01/26 11:29] Lyubov (20180414 Resident): Done.
[2020/01/26 11:29] Lyubov (20180414 Resident): and thank you :)
[2020/01/26 11:29] Rosie Gray: that's a good observation, Lyubov
[2020/01/26 11:29] Rosie Gray: I had a thought about photos to go with Delia's project
[2020/01/26 11:30] Rosie Gray: was thinking that we could ask everyone in the CDS group to submit photos of those spaces, and perhaps offer some kind of prize for the best ones
[2020/01/26 11:30] Rosie Gray: not sure
[2020/01/26 11:30] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): sounds good
[2020/01/26 11:30] Rosie Gray: but something that might inspire some of the good SL photographers in our group
[2020/01/26 11:31] Rosie Gray: as a way to engage people that don't get involved with politics or building
[2020/01/26 11:31] Rosie Gray: ㋡
[2020/01/26 11:31] Rosie Gray: okay, next meeting
[2020/01/26 11:31] Sudane Erato: feb 9 same time?
[2020/01/26 11:32] Rosie Gray: sounds fine to me
[2020/01/26 11:32] Rosie Gray: Mizou?
[2020/01/26 11:32] Lyubov (20180414 Resident): and 11 february RA meeting, will have a day between to catch our breath :)
[2020/01/26 11:32] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): yes fine just added to my agenda
[2020/01/26 11:32] Rosie Gray: :D
[2020/01/26 11:33] Rosie Gray: okay, Motion to make the next LUC meeting Feb. 9, 10 am slt.
[2020/01/26 11:33] Sudane Erato: Mizou is walking the dog :)
[2020/01/26 11:33] Sudane Erato: second
[2020/01/26 11:33] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): am I??
[2020/01/26 11:33] Rosie Gray: Delia is walking the dog
[2020/01/26 11:33] Rosie Gray: hehe
[2020/01/26 11:33] Sudane Erato: no... sorry... Delia
[2020/01/26 11:33] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): lol
[2020/01/26 11:33] Lyubov (20180414 Resident): Delia is walking Mizou's dog :)
[2020/01/26 11:33] Sudane Erato: my brain isfogged... :(
[2020/01/26 11:34] Rosie Gray: awh, lol
[2020/01/26 11:34] Sudane Erato: ahh... of course!
[2020/01/26 11:34] Rosie Gray: well let's vote
[2020/01/26 11:34] Sudane Erato: aye
[2020/01/26 11:34] Mizou (Mizou Vavoom): aye
[2020/01/26 11:34] Rosie Gray: aye
[2020/01/26 11:34] Rosie Gray: and we hope it works for Delia
[2020/01/26 11:34] Rosie Gray: and Pip and Cathy
[2020/01/26 11:34] Sudane Erato: sorry... i must run
[2020/01/26 11:34] Rosie Gray: meeting adjourned!
