I have recommended that the RA pass a new bill, described here:
http://forums.slcds.info/viewtopic.php? ... 212#p16212
I would be happy to discuss it, at a future RA meeting at a mutually convenient time, if the RA wishes.
But I do not think you need to have me present, to act on it.
Regards JP

Thanks for taking the time to draft this and for your offer to discuss, Jamie. Your insight is very valuable, and I think it would be helpful to the to us to have you present this in person, if possible. The agenda for tomorrow's meeting is very full, so i'll propose adding it to the next meeting,(or as soon as we can match schedules) which will give RA members and citizens a chance to consider the proposal.

I take it that the point of this is to work out whether the merger cost the CDS money or whether the transfer was in the other direction?
I would assume that this will be evident when the demerger is completed and our finances separated. I agree that it would be useful to know this.
I suggest we ask our Treasurer whether this information will be available in any case and what additional work this bill would involve before discussing it at the next RA meeting.

Agreed Pat. Maybe we'll find out to a general degree of satisfaction without the RA needing to act. Easier to frame the question by writing parameters though.

I agree and second this proposed bill.
