Election by Acclamation -Chancellor and 43rd Representative Assembly

Having received five declarations to run for the 43rd Representative Assembly, and there being five seats available, the following candidates are elected by acclamation:

Cathy Sabre
Jerry McNally
Anjoux Herbit
Sandy Burgess
Almut Brunswick

Having received one declaration to run for Chancellor, and there being one position available, Tor Karlsvalt is elected by acclamation.

Thank you all for your willingness to serve. The 43rd RA will take office on June 1st.

People often say that, in a democracy, decisions are made by a majority of the people. Of course, that is not true. Decisions are made by a majority of those who make themselves heard and who vote -- a very different thing.
