LUC Meeting Minutes - 23 July 2022
Attendees: Moon Adamant, Kyoko Barzane, Rosie Gray, Lilith Ivory, Breila Jenvieve, Delia Lake, Agatha Macbeth
1. Approved agenda.
2. Elected Lilith Ivory as Chair and Breila Jenvieve as Archivist.
Old business:
3a. Tabled discussion of the cave under the Platz in Colonia Nova as Tor has asked Lilith to build an event space there and Sudane was digging more underground tunnels in the Schloss basement.
3b. Discussed a pathway connection from the little cave on the beach at the northeast corner of Colonia Nova to the catacombs. Considered putting it underneath roads, which would not need many extra prims because the roads would already be the top of the trench and are public land. It could be a combination of a Cube Republic cave system and terraforming done by Sudane, A plan is needed with locations, prim count, and an idea of what it will look like. This will be done to create more interesting and fun features underground in Colonia Nova and in NFS, then publicize them to make them a Second Life destination. Moon Adamant will work on a plan for this project.
4. Reviewed the current list of landing spots at locations with paid Second Life Classifieds. Considered adding a paid landing spot in Alpine Meadow near the Pip Torok Community Center and modify the path accordingly.. Noted we are paying for the Anzere infohub when we don't own it. Also noted there are three paid locations in NFS while there are none in Alpine Meadow. Also discussed adding names and descriptions to the paid locations to make them more destination-oriented. Could be discussed on a Forum thread, perhaps with a photo competition. The listing for Markplatz is a good example.
* Reviewed names for the Colonia Nova inner city, such as Centrum, Urbe, Civita, Citta, Centro Storico, or Quartier Storico.
* Noted the landing point at Monastery is landing inside a waterfall instead of on a bridge and needs to be fixed to in front of the Monastery itself.

5. Tabled discussion about a portal from CDS to the VWEC:.
6. Briefly discussed expanding informational signage throughout CDS.
