Agatha Macbeth seconds
Motion to appoint Moon Adamant as temporary LUC chair passes unanimously.

Moon Adamant proposed agenda: 1. Survey results; 2. Survey discussion; 3.Theatre; 4. Other business
Sudane Erato seconds
Agenda approved unanimously

  1. Survey Results:
    A. For the record, we held a survey on the forum from 20 Nov 2022 to just now
    B. The survey asked for citizens to tell us which landmarks should get a historic sign, as we have been discussing in previous meetings
    C. This survey started with a post: https://forums.slcds.info/viewtopic.php?t=10144, and then one further post per simd
    D. A notecard with the results, will be share later on, and will also be posted. Or, if you have voted, by clicking on each survey post you will see the results

  2. Survey Discussion
Delia Lake comments that she did not check either the underground in NFS nor the catacombs in CN because I think they should be highlighted in a CDS scary places tour with a HUD -- also include the cellars of the kirche.
Moon Adamant notes also that people have remarked that some of the landmarks on the lists are in private land. The list is a compilation of two lists that we have been looking at, plus suggestions by LUC members and citizens. She understands also the issue has been evolving for over a term, thus the imperfection of the lists, and is waiting for this consultation on the public parcels to be done as she want to make proposals for LMs on private parcels.
    In addition, for the record:

  3. Ruined Chapel at Red House Forest, by Jon Seattle, was possibly the first ruined building done on our territory. IT hosted the HQ of the CSDF-Citizens Social-Democrat Faction for over a decade.

  4. Temple of Mercury in CN is the sole record of a time in our history: the merger with AA

Members agree that the list if Heritage locations is a work in progress, with the survey being an indication of priorities and that the buildings need not be historically correct, but that the locations have “historical” context.

  1. Theater:
Located at Colonia Nova (201,247,1025), Images on Flickr, courtesy of Jerry

Moon Adamant is working now to have a textured geometry which even if it is a bit straight, it can be lowered, and has modelled the theatre per se, meaning the scena, orchestra and cavea -- stage, and the viewing grounds. And is now doing the enclosure elements, to lower down in early December (she hopes)

  1. Other business:
    No other business

Moon Adamant moves to adjourn, seconded by Sudane Erato.
Unanimously passed
10:57 Meeting adjourned.

Next meeting time and date deferred to Lilith.

(Big thanks to Leslie for the minutes :))
