A Sincere Apology

Post by Jeremy Bender »

I have been reading a bit of the local response and also received a couple of IM's that have changed my mind about the "protest" I was involved in in Colonia Nova.

I thought at the time that I was a reasonable person and that I just got mad and had a right to do so. Then when I posted to this forum about it I apologized, but still maintained that I was right about being mad and within my rights to be that way.

I now see I was wrong on both counts.
A partial apology or one that holds reservations out is not really an apology at all.

Please accept this sincere, [b:2e5kf3da]unreserved[/b:2e5kf3da] apology for my actions and statements. I am truly sorry that I upset so many people with my protest and would now like to atone as best I can to any individuals that feel wronged or insulted by my actions. I had no right to cause the kind of disturbance I did and to preach about it afterwards to this forum when I hardly even know the people involved.

I have no excuse, but by way of explanation, I was just trying to be honest even though I ended up being only cruel.

Thank you

Thank you for the magnanimous post and apology. I wish such courtesy was far more common.

Let's keep things simple enough to be fair, substantive enough to be effective, and insightful enough to be good.
