Ranma Evacuated to Germany

Post by michelmanen »

I have just been informed by a common acquaintance that Ranma has just been evacuated from Iraq to Germany. supposedly the title of the e-mail was in arabic: Barka Ranma. Barka means "Bless... " No other news.

As a rule, only cases which cannot be treated in Iraq are evacuated to Germany.

Ranma Evacuated to Germany

.. this is simply shocking .. Thank you for sharing the news. I hope some kind of positive news follows!
Never did I look forward more to reading new Ranma-esque posts on this painfully unimportant forum.

In the remote possibility that the message gets through: [i:3d73l6vp]We're thinking about you Ranma, get better a.s.a.p.!!![/i:3d73l6vp]

.. I sure hope this is not as bad as it sounds like ..

Thank you for telling us, Michel. Ranma, when you are able to read these posts please know that Iand many others are wishing you a full and speedy recovery. I had not seen you inworld in a while and, reading the news about attacks on forward ops units, I was worried. I am very sorry to hear that you have been injured but relieved to learn that you are now in Germany. Please do let us know if there is anything we can do to help you.

Update about Ranma

Post by michelmanen »

I have talked to Ranma today inworld. She had a mild heart attack brought on by strenuous work in very hot temperatures. She moved from one field hospital to another unil she was flown to a hospital in Germany, where she is recuperating now.

Good to see Ranma back in action; she posted a notice today about the Democratic Peace initiative in Caledon.

Welcome back, Ranma, and stay well.

return to iraq

Well all good things must come to an end.
Even though I have heart disease, been wounded and all of my joints are painful as hell; the Army says I will return to Iraq. These things can be "controlled" with medicine.
I will recieve treatment downrange, tell you want a Army to "serve" in!
I will leave for there Monday.
