[b:acwuowpc]CARE will hold its main pre-election General Meeting on Thursday, 12 July 2007, in the CRAEDO Auditorium Building, Colonia Nova[/b:acwuowpc].
The meeting's agenda is as follows:
[b:acwuowpc]1. Welcome and Presentation of CARE's main priorities over the next year[/b:acwuowpc]: Commerce, Arts, Relaxation, Education - by Bromo Ivory, CARE Co-Chairperson (approx 10 mins);

2. Two guest speakers: (approx 20 mins)[/b:acwuowpc]
a) [b:acwuowpc]Abbey Zenith [/b:acwuowpc]In RL: Academic librarian, business faculty liaison. Interested in educational applications for SL; On SL (DOB: 5/17/2006) Assistant Director SLL2/Operations Director of InfoIsland 1, gallery co-curator, TX950 manager) works with Alliance Library System and Infoland to help establish a system of libraries throughout SL. She will talk about the importance of libraries in SL and about the practical aspects of setting one up in a sim (as proposed by CARE); and
b) [b:acwuowpc]Shaun Altman[/b:acwuowpc] (DOB: 12/9/2004) (CEO of Cyberland, Second Life's first PUBLICLY owned and traded corporation-an investment land firm; owner of a number of sims) will address the future prospects of business, trade and commerce and how this relates to having a stable and efficient system of enforcing rules against griefers, fraudsters, etc (aslo a plank in the CARE Legilsative Agenda 2007-8) (to be confirmed)
