Guild Election for Secretary - Announce Your Candidacy

The New Guild will shortly be holding elections for Guild Secretary. The Guild Secretary is responsible for calling and chairing meetings of the administrative board as well as acting as spokesperson at meetings of the Representative Assembly. If you are interested in running for this position please announce your candidacy by replying to this post or posting your own message on the New Guild forum.

Moon has pointed out, rightly I think, that there may be a conflict of interest between being in the RA and being involved with Guild work. As a result I am not running for Guild Secretary. I hope one of you who has been involved in our work will be willing to step up and accept leadership.

Thank Heavens for Moon! Maybe now you're beginning to appreciate the fact that my position on non-cumulation of offices in governmental and quasi-governmental organisations (such as the Guild) was actually a legitimate concern and not a loony conspiracy against you personally...
