Kevin Allen Navy (Composer, Guitarist and Lead Vocalist) Founder of Knavy and the Blues On The Run Band Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Kevin began playing guitar at the age of 12. In the early 80', Kevin moved to Breaux Bridge, La and met Andrew Espree. Andrew was the leader of a local band called "Bo Jacque and Zydeco Hi-Rollers." Mr Espree asked Kevin to try out with the band. He auditioned, was hired and was introduced to the Zydeco sound.
Kevin's dream was to assemble a group that could be produce a quality sound that was unique... a sound that was not the norm... a sound that is a combination of Zydeco, Rock and Roll and Blues. With "Knavy and the Blues On the Run Band" he has found that sound... ...he calls it "Zy-de-Rock"!
