Last week of Oktoberfest

Post by Rose Springvale »

Save time for the Oktoberfest Ball on Sunday, from 2 - 5 slt. (trying to accomodate usual Sunday meetings) This ball will be open to the public and take place in the schloss. The polka floors will be in place in the platz, in case of crowds. I'm still working on music so if you have thoughts on that, let me know.

Don't miss the rematch of CN v NFS on Saturday at noon.

Watch the boards for announcements on concerts. We have two performers still working on details.

Thanks for the terrific turnout and support for all the Oktoberfest events! lets wrap up with a busy week.

And will someone remind the Dean that she has kissing booth shifts!! :)

UEEE!

VOTE for what you like! In the Marktplatz in Neufreistadt there is a machine to count votes for if you like it as an SL HOTSPOT.

Thanks Sonja for the pic and the announcements... I think people have stopped reading me :)

Here is the latest:

Saturday, noon CN v NFS rematch. I've also scheduled the match with Caledon for noon NEXT Saturday.. Oct 13. People are really excited... and afraid.. we are "Germany" after all! Come and join the fun!

NB TIME CHANGE: Saturday [b:10zk7ddf]7 pm[/b:10zk7ddf] Komuso Tokugawa.. Ko is an Australian musician streaming from Japan and has one of the most original sounds "ambient and blues" he says.. in SL. He brings in an eclectic fan group and is a great showman. (Id be glad to schedule another show at the EU friendly 5 am slt, but i won't be able to coordinate it. If someone else would like to, let me know and I'll set it up.)

Sunday 2-5 Formal Closing Ball. Yes, it will be time to end the schlager music, put away the polka and the street fair and return NFS to its quiet. (for a few days anyway) But not before we sway under the stars. Invitations will go out tomorrow (thursday) I hope.

Next week: ChelseaMarie Noel and KelvinBlue OH have agreed to regular performances at the Emporium Romani. Chelsea will sing on Wednesdays at 6 slt, Kelvin on Thursdays at 6. Our hostess Carlie will still be holding her weekly dance parties as well.

Other announcements :)
--I've "hired" two new associates at Utarid and Springvale, Caitlyn Thorne and Kit Meredith, both rl US lawyers. They are interested in our experiment and I thought this would be a good way to let them taste CDS. So say hello if you see them around... We'll be hosting a party for them soon.
-- Pukk Abel's First Impressions has been nominated for a peoples choice award for her professional clothing. (First Impressions and its sister store, Sugar Punk run by Irelyn Christiansen, was the anchor boutique for the Emporium Romani) We'll be placing a sign in the store in Colonia Nova so you can show your support if you wish.

-- And finally, speaking of voting, don't forget to stop by the Platz to vote for NFS as a hotspot. This is a great opportunity to show off our sim! I have more voting kiosks if anyone knows a good place to put them... NFS only this time.

Thanks everyone for your support, and see you at Oktoberfest!
