Saturday December 22 at Noon slt, CDS will have a holiday ball on the docks in Colonia Nova. Originally, this was planned to be a Saturnalia Ball to honor the ancient roman festival of this time period, and there were to be two other balls, one in NFS (Bad Santa as requested by Committee) and a new years celebration which was to take place in Alpine Meadow.
Instead, we will have just this one ball. I encourage you to participate in whatever thematic manner you wish. I did some research on modern Saturnalia festivals and will post exerpts with this post. Maximillion Kleene will be providing live music at noon and we will stream seasonal music afterwards. Thanks to ThePrincessParisi and MT Lundquist for sponsoring this ball.
The ice has been fully restored on the River in Colonia Nova after a naturally created meltdown on Wednesday.... so come and try out the free trick skaters or bring your own skates. Be careful near the sim cross, you can get trapped under the ice! Also, make an angel, have a snowball fight and do try the sleds across from Inspiration park. (If you have a hill you'd like a sled on, let me know and i'll place one for you.)
