This is utterly unfounded rumour. No payments have been issued to anyone, (in my recollection), for any infrastructure work on CN or AM. I'll try and prepare a report of all payments issued since the beginning of history (its a short list) for things which add to our value (payments we've made for the museum, walls of NFS, fountain, software, etc).
As far as payments to people for "services rendered", the only such payments have been the L$1000/month payments to various officials as instructed by the RA and the Chancellor (myself, the caretakers, the RA archivist, the PIO) and the various reimbursements for event expenses. These are detailed month by month in the financial reports.
I think that rather than asking public, and somewhat hot-button, questions like this, effort should be devoted to organizing our financial admin and reporting process so that all expenditures, throughout history, can be accessible to anyone seeking to know. At some point in time this community is going to get serious about the fact that we are a significant financial entity and need to deal with our finances responsibly. How about now?
