I propose 2 events at Trotsky's (A place to talk revolution.)
The first will be a purely informational session, both parties need to be represented to sort of explain the thrust of their party to those present. The structure will be more of a conversation and a hippie love fest : - ) The audience will be encouraged to ask questions of both sides.
The second event will be a more formal "debate" in which both sides will be given time to speak and asked questions from a moderator (to be selected). Time should be set aside for audience questions as well.
I am suggesting 60-90 minutes for the first and a very rigid 60 minutes for the second with at least 30 minutes of mixer time afterwards.
The big question is "When?" the two events should be set up as to reach different groups, and I am willing to setup vendors with party documentation for both groups. Ideally citizens should be able to attend one of them and get good information.
My initial suggestion would be 9am Saturday July 8 (informational) and 7pm July 14 (debate).
feedback anyone?
