I suggest we hold a pre-budget orientation discussion at the RA meeting on 24 February (noon in the Praetorium, Colonia Nova). The idea would be that we talk about the financial priorities for the term so that we can ask the Treasurer to prepare a budget for ratification by the RA at a later meeting. The kind of things we might discuss could include:
Funding for events
Funding for cultural activities (e.g. interactive displays in our historic places so that visitors can learn about the CDS 24/7)
Civil Service Stipends
Financing any new sim(s) given the LL ban on banking activities
Any other planned expenditure by the Executive
Any other financial matters
We can have part of the discussion in this thread too. What should the government spend your money on? (And how much?) Thoughts welcome
