Can we remove the b.places.com voting box?

Post by Flyingroc Chung »

Not sure who to ask here, the chancellor, perhaps? This voting booth in the Neufreistadt platz says "1 vote." I dont know that the thing actually brought in any significant number of visitor, we probably should have it removed.

ah, they had trouble a few weeks back, most were reset. We had a very nice review for oktoberfest, but no reason not to take it down. It's in my name; I'll get it tomorrow.

Is this the "Hotspot" voting machine that is still in the Marktplatz? It was fun for a while, but I am getting kind of tired of it, and it does not seem to be adding new votes at an incredibly impressive rate.

maybe it doesnt' add votes because there isnt' anything going on? :) just a thought.

I was going to remove it, but it doesnt' seem i should make that decision. The chancellor/ current officers can return it anytime they wish, but perhaps it is something that should not be done arbitrarily. I know a lot of people who use the site to find new places. So if it were up to me, we'd keep it, and use it to inspire fun things to attract people and their votes.

but i'm retired from that. so i'll just say.. return it if you dont' want it.

and what is this "phone booth" starfruit that is on the land by naftalis wonderful pub.. are we going to be mainland now? if we are its not cos we have small lots its cos we dont adhere to nto having advertisements like hillary signs visible from all over the sim.. a house with a rlwebisite advertisment on the door and a "phone booth that advertises .. starfruit? .. what is going on .. the chancellor needs an office? he needs to do something first i think.............

and btw

i have to get this out in the open regardign chancellor......my best friend bells............a newbie to CDS and very well respected SL citizen .. blogger, business owner SL Mentor.. on and on .................was appointed Events Chair... subsequently she asked Arria what to do. Arria told her dont do anything until we meet..............a month later Bells asked ARria when can we meet.............Arria said i dont know.......weeks later Arria lies to alexicon and said bells cannot do the events job cos she said she has personal issues............well........Bells had told Arria actually that she had a funeral to go on and could not make ONE meeting .. NOT that she cannot be events.. half way through the term.. .it is obvious that Arria has either no communicatoin skills ( an asset that the PIO needs i think) or is intentionally thwarting the chancellors appointment. Bells is a person due great respect in SL and is of the highest SL reputation and visibilty in many arenas..........we should be honered to have her as a citizen and willing to take on the task of events.............so thank you chancellor and company for making sure nothing happened ...................i hate to make this public but the people need to knwo what is really going on behind the scenes.

Bells tried......was told not to do anything.. then her grandmother died and she was lied about to alexicon............poor cds :( we have really missed out on some great things.

thanks arria :(

oh and romans in german settlements used wood per symo and valus.............ask them.
