The first meeting of the 9th Representative Assembly took place on 3 August 2008 with the following results:
1. Inauguration of the new RA members by the SC Dean, following a procession through all 4 sims.
2. Brief remarks by the new LRA (yours truly)
3. Announcement that RA meetings this term will generally occur on Sundays a 9 am SLT.
4. Agreement to continue to operate under the same rules as the last RA.
5. Brief reports from the New Guild on LA and from the Commission on Corporate Structure and naming of Gwyneth Llewelyn as the RA chair.
6. Selection of Jamie Palisades as the new Chancellor. Congratulations, Jamie!
7. Selection of Publius Crabgrass as the new RA Archivist. Congratulations, Publius.
8. Adoption of the proposed Constitutional Amendment to specify zero-based Borda counts, and naming of Gwyneth Llewelyn as the RA chair of the Electoral Commission.
9. Report and discussion of the CDS portal.
