We had two great meetings last week and came up with fabulous ideas for the winter holidays. Several people are investigating just how much we will be able to bring to CDS, but one thing is clear, the time is short!
We agreed to a theme of Stars this year, as the star motif has relevance in all our themed sims. Moon has created some gorgeous new decorations for us following our Stars theme... if you want to stay in theme with your home decor, think stars in the alpine sims, suns in the roman.
So... winter MAY come early this year.. maybe even before Saturday! If you have some extra time and want to help change public land linden trees to winter ones, you need to be in the Land Vert group and have special status.. if you aren't already, ask one of the guild members and we'll get you set up.
Here's the "wish list".. more details to follow. The Chancellor will let us know if we have a Snow Day, or we may just be surprised. Either way,lets plan to plant trees on Friday! (yes, that's tomorrow!)
BTW, Saturday is also the one year Anniversary of Alpine Meadow!

-ABBA skating party on the soccer/hockey field... weekly??

All sims:
snowfight event with Lindens winter holidays (AM most likely?)
-build your own gift competition (to leave under tree)
-Owl Parade (like Cow Parade) (owls to be provided)(working on this!)
-snow on or before Dec 1... all sims
-winter trees... planting before or during snow
-snow machine (aliasi has?)
-secret santa
-holiday games: primtionary, building contests (biergarten? amphitheater?)
We have volunteers for many of the activities, doing research at least. If you are interested in sponsoring (that means paying for) a concert or ball, let me know as soon as possible. (The events budget won't pay for live musicians for all the times we have available.)
