Congratulations on Obama as president

If I may let a note of RL politics sound in this forum, I am extremely happy that Barack Obama was sworn in as president of the United States today. His message of hope was well-delivered, and I believe, contrasts sharply with the tragic and mistaken path the United States has gone down. Just by who he is, as an inspiring African-American, or more broadly speaking as a multi-ethnic American, he represents the beginnings of a dream fulfilled, and a hope for peace.

Yeah, it was pretty darn cool watching all of that today. The more interesting thing will be to watch Obama as he works to execute on some of those plans and dreams...

It is clear the world we are living in is new, and the United States is becoming the kind of leader the people of the world want it to be.

I also watched piece of the inauguration ceremony over internet yesterday. Let's hope things get better in that side of the Atlantic Ocean because it all affects to the rest of the world, even the virtual one!
