First glance at Election Calendar

It may seem like only yesterday that we did this last, but it's time to consider candidacy in the 11th Representative Assembly of the CDS. This will be the group in office when we celebrate our 5th anniversary on September 20, so I thought it might be wise to get you all thinking about it before dates sneak up on you

Here are the relevant dates, subject to correction and alteration by the SC.

Last date to declare candidacy for the RA (which, at this point, requires membership in one of the factions) June 26, 2009... that's one month from now. By extrapolation, this is also the date factions must qualify to participate.. new and old factions must have membership equal to 10% of the voting citizens to qualify.

Polls open: Noon, July 11, 2009
Polls close: Noon July 25, 2009
New reps take over: August 1, 2009
