AA Bill and announcement

I am adding my vote in favor of the Al Andalus Expansion Proposal (found at http://forums.slcds.info/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2445), pursuant to the 7-day vote procedure. I think it would have been better practice to adopt first the enabling constitutional amendment proposed by Pat here (http://forums.slcds.info/viewtopic.php? ... 292#p13292), but I am nonetheless in favor of the expansion proposal.

I have found it increasingly difficult to attend Sunday morning RA meetings, due to personal and professional travel commitments these last weeks. Accordingly, I am hereby resigning my seat in the RA, and I expect that the CSDF faction will fill the seat soon.

Justice, I am sorry you are resigning your seat. You have always added a lot to the Representative Assembly and been a voice of stability and reason. All the best to you in your other adventures!

Although it is now too late to incorporate Patroklus' idea for an addition to the CDS Constitution before a merger with Al Andalus would happen, the RA could still work on putting something like that in place in order to have it for such instances in the future. I am pleased to report that CSDF has designated Patroklus Murikami to fill this seat for the balance of the RA term. Thanks for stepping in, Pat, at a momentous time in our history.
