If I recall correctly, it *is* possible to sit on both the SC and RA.... but only possible to hold a voting seat on one of these bodies.
That would mean that Naftali can continue to be both an AA representative on the RA and a member of the SC but would have to say which of these institutions she was participating in as a voting member. I did this for a period when I was a member of the SC but, like Naftali, had stepped forward to take a seat in the RA too.
This would be helpful so that we retain Naftali's experience and voice on the SC and her representation of AA on the RA.

This is a really good solution, Patroklus - so long as she wants to go to all of those meetings.

You're right Pat. There was some discussion about making resignation from the SC legally obligatory before one could stand for an RA seat, but I don't think the RA passed it. Gwyn, Justice, and you all resigned from the SC. There were however previous cases (Flyingroc, I think) where an SC member took a 'leave of absence' from the SC while serving on the RA. Both situations have happened at various points, although resignation has been the preference recently. I don't know if this means the custom has shifted or not.
