Oktoberfest 2009 September 19 – October 4 (September 19 (preview day)
10a m Oktoberfest Soccer Tournament, Day1: Come play or just watch! Our field is "under the street! Colonia Nova v Locus Amoenus and Neufreistadt vAlpine Meadow! Open to anyone who wants to play, jerseys provided! This is casual, soccer, the way it was when you were a kid. Crazy fun, no stress! Trophies for the tournament winners.
12 noon: CDS joins the Munich SL sim community by riding our float in the MunichSL Oktoberfest Parade!

September 20
CDS Anniversary, five years of virtual democracy.
12 noon Oktoberfest Bier wagon Parade, bigger and better than ever. Parade begins in Al Garnata sim, and concludes on the Marktplatz of NFS. We'll travel seamlessly through five sims so there will be lots of fun places to see the creative bier wagons.
12:45 Flag ceremony, anniversary speeches
1:00 Naftali Torok and Boris ______ preside over the opening of street market, carnival and Polka. (continuous through festival) Don't miss the special CDS polka, music and dance

3 pm Virtual Live Band, whose members play live from all over the world, takes the OFest Stage

September 25

1pm. Today we take out dirndls and lederhosen and enjoy a day at the Wunderbar sims at the Wunderbar Oktoberfest! Another chance to meet some really friendly people and see another great Second life Sim project

September 26
10 am Oktoberfest Soccer Tournament, Game 2 Al Andalus sims v Day 1 winner.
1pm CDS hosts Wunderbar today, with our own DJ Rudo Gynoid supplying the sounds of Oktoberfest!
2pm, Damian Carbenell on the Oktoberfest Stage. A newcomer to the festival, but a SL favorite!
8pm, Maximillion Kleene comes back to help us celebrate!

September 27
12noon: Tiroler Eck Show Band, from MunichSL, brings their high-energy show back to the Marktplatz. You heard the preview on the Grand Tour, and this special 2 hour show won't disappoint you.

September 30

I have one very small correction, I think, which is that the first Saturday and Sunday in October will be the 3rd and 4th. Only wanting to be helpful...

Today I was given a poster for the Tiroler Eck Show Band (TESB) concert, and it says they will be playing starting at 11:00 a.m. SLT (20:00 CET). Because this is one hour different from the time described for them above, I contacted zaphod. He said they are planning to play from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm SLT on Sunday the 27th.

That isn't what he told me, in fact he was quite specific, 12:00 to 14:00. I'll check with him.

TESB has had to change the time of their show on Sunday. Since they WILL be there at noon, i won't change all the schedules, but their show will begin at 11 a.m. and continue until 1 pm. I apologize to Moon and the Guild, this was not the plan, but to accomodate the members of the band, zaphod has changed the time.
