I believe that the program currently is designed mostly to facilitate jointly-managed free land *between* estates. The "Blake Sea" adjacent to SLNE is the obvious example. The Linden-operated quasi-estate "Bay City", which they heavily promote, also is worth some thought, in comparison.
I believe that, as a planning matter, we should consider (among other things) that this program would provide an opportunity to physically join with the Linden mainland, with which we have long historical connections ... or other estates where we have a strong, positive and noncompetitive relationship. That's not necessary -- but it is an interesting option. Any such move obviously would be a significant planning issues, so more community discussion about this would be helpful.
