Thanks to Sudane and Rose for arranging for our snow to fall, starting with the Alpine sims. Go look :D and watch for this weekend's snow events. Regards Jamie

One of those great things in the CDS is the winter. It's especially heart-warming to see snow and ice, when winter is late in RL. :)

My rl calendar seems to be coopted by CDS (not all that unusual!) because it snowed in HOUSTON today! about 3 inches,(7.6 cm) and yes, businesses and schools closed.

Southerners have no idea what to do with snow. (For those who don't know, i'm a transplant, having spent much of my life in Michigan, where such things as schools and businesses close MAYBE if there is a foot of snow. (30 cm!)

Don't forget our Let it Snow party beginning on the Platz at 1 pm slt on Sunday... Radio Riel will be providing music, and hopefully the ski slopes of Alpine Meadow will open.

If anyone wants to put out Christmas market goods in the platz, go claim a booth or send me a note if we run out! I"ll have to come and find you otherwise :)
