Can someone of the Exec team of that time explane to me why this ice stopped at the border of the sim?

The worst sign of the fact the sim was ignored was the freeze of the river that goes through the roman sims. I had said I intent to freeze the lake of the Monastery. One day I have seen the river of LA frozen until the border of the Monastery sim. Nobody has warned me about the date of this freeze. In the mail I have mentionned above, I have even asked for the ice texture to have the same, but I never get it. So the ice was different in the same river.

Considering I froze the river to help out, since there was no one else to do it, I do not remember seeing a request from you for the texture. All you had to do was look at the creator of the ice to see it was me and send me a notecard or email for the texture.

I'm still waiting for the answer to the question as why you emailed Rose for the texture, when it was quite obvious I was the owner and creator of the ice. I still can't understand why you would email Rose when I was the one freezing the river and she doesn't have the texture. Considering this is the third time I've asked, do you also still say you don't ignore what I have to say or brush me off??

AGAIN, I will say I was the one that froze the river and I offered to do so to hellp out. I couldn't have froze Monastery even if I wanted to as I did not have land rezzing rights. I am not a member of LV. I was a member at one time, but the group was streamlined and I was ejected. So again, I ask, why did you not contact me???

And I think someone of administrative powers need to lock this thread , as it is no longer about the photo contest results..

The response and quality of the images was indeed excellent. It was good to see entries by some residents of CDS, and I hope that others will consider entering in any future photo shoot events. The contest also exposed the sims to a number of people from the various art groups I belong to; in most cases they were unaware of the CDS sims. I've also seen at least one image now on display in one of their galleries that was taken in CDS during the contest.

While I appreciate the thanks (and it *is* a fair amount of work to do this sort of thing), thanks must also go to Rose who provided the prize money; while I'd love to say we would have such a good response from artists not residing here without such incentive, it's unlikely. Thanks also to everyone who entered images.

OTOH, no thanks at all to those who managed to turn a 'hey wasn't this great' thread into another ugly bout of political diarrhea.

Thanks Calli for your last post and especially thank you for your work on the contest. I have to say how wonderful the contest was in promoting CDS. The contest definitely brought more people in from outside CDS. Indeed I even made a new friend from outside CDS who submitted a wonderful photo. I even learned to look at CDS from different perspectives that I had missed.
