RA meeting today? New rules of procedure?

Post by Cindy Ecksol »

Pardon me for being so silly as to ask, but why, exactly, is the outgoing RA holding a meeting and attempting to promulgate new rules of procedure when an election has taken place? In past terms with one exception of which I am aware, we've never had an RA meeting once the election period commenced.

Is it only me who thinks this is inappropriate?

No, Cindy, so would I (think it's inappropriate, that is).

Far better, for all the reasons you cite, leave it to the coming RA, whoever they may be.

My only concern was to set in the rules things we have learned during this term. Many people, especially citizen, have asked to have these summary. They expected to be better informed about our activities. I hope the next RA will remember that (as some of these citizen are elected now ;-))...
