Friend and former Al Andalus citizen Schmillson Nillson, (Joshua Fouts) has just published a new article about Al Andalus in Saudi Aramco World. A couple of the numbers are wrong (unless somehow CDS is now governing 60 sims!) but overall it's a great article. Here is the link to the article, http://www.saudiaramcoworld.com/issue/2 ... us.2.0.htm and to the blog. http://www.theimaginationage.net/2010/0 ... ld-al.html. Josh is recognized as the leading expert in Digital Diplomacy. He and collaborator Rita J. King were also the publishers of the Understanding Islam through Virtual Worlds series.

These are wonderful promotions. The problem is that it will draw avatars to, "The Al Andalus community is cultural relations at its finest." If these folk bother to stay for very long they will come to some understanding of the actual reality and then you will remain eleven Sims with twenty five regulars. Nada Mas!

Well, as Josh, Rita and many others have discovered, you get out of the community what you put in. And it takes time. They spent over a year living in Al Andalus for their first series, and Josh came back to see how it had evolved. Since he actually talked to people, I think I will take his comments as the encouragement they are meant to be. But thanks for still looking in on us!

Rose: I don't seem to remember Josh, Rita and... I don't recall seeing them at a single AA, RA, or SC meeting. Did they build something that I may have missed?

Believe it or not, there are a lot of things you just don't know Arias.
