This article may interest our community: Linden Lab Quietly is Offering 50% Discounts to Select Non-Profit & Educational Groups Who've Given Up Their SL Sims. The information was confirmed by LL spokeman. For now there is no possibility to apply.

I'll go further, Arria. I'm sure no-one in our community would not be highly interested, not to say intrigued.

The comments to this blog are, if anything, even more intriguing. The one from Ken Hudson had me cheering in the aisles.

Some readers may be surprised to hear Linden Lab talk of "Select Non-Profit & Educational Groups" rather than of "all" or "any" such groups. Surely, in the heart of Democratic North America, declaration of an explicit priviledge and exclusivity sticks mightily in the craw of everyman!

But then again, many will not be surprised at LL. Of such am I ...... 8)
