Fishing Village idea ...

... as people hand wrong and scream about the collonade, it occurs to me that we should have some fish swimming around or something like that to give it a "fishing" feel.

Right now it looks like a Riviera village not particularly dedicated to fishing.

At one time I had put fish in the harbor of LA. I was asked to remove them pending the rebuilding. There were some other scene appropriate critters scattered around also. The only marine creature remaining in the harbor is a dolphin.

Oh yes it was! It was a deliberately craptastic movie - and tremendously popular as a result amongst aficianados of "bad movies." But it was deliberately bad, so that'd take a little away from it.

Though some of CDS political discussion is more "Sharknado" than "Jaws" LOL

It'd be neat to have a small simulated ecosystem below the water. I'd bet you could design it, too, based on the older one? I gues sit owuld boil down to the will to do it, as well as the prims.

Speaking of scene-appropriate, what about some actual fishing-village stuff? You know, like fishing boats, like fishing nets and a fish-gutting station. How about some barrels with fish in them?

Some fish in the water would be very appropriate too. What is inappropriate is a Greco-Roman goddess statue and a fancy colonade. You would never seen that in a fishing village.

Yes I'm with Rosie ... I pictured an amount of mud with fishing gigs dragged up on them .. not somewhere to spy into peoples homes LOL

I like those ideas a lot. THough I have to admit, that, "barrels with fish in them" remind me of the saying "like shooting fish in a barrel" so we'd have to work in a visual pun or some sort of animation there.
