While entering the Gov't Question Hour dates – from the Chancellor's post– into my calendar, I noticed
Any Branch – Thursday August 21st at 1am SLT
I understand SLT = pacific daylight time, but is 1am a typo? (I hope so.)

ah lol, you are right - but it is not a typo - Ceasar scheduled times that are the middle of the night for US so that they would be middle of the day for people in other parts of the world. Since the Question Hour is still in its infancy, if it works out no one wants things at 1am, then the times can be changed....but for now, the idea is to ensure everyone in the world can get to at least a couple question hours at a reasonable time for THEM.
Another thing tbd is who from which branch of Govt is awake at 1am slt.

Europe/UK 9-11am, evening in China, Japan.... not sure if there is anyone in the actual government in those time zones - some of the citizens perhaps?
I guess it's fair to schedule multiple govnmnt question hours, one at a North American-ish time and one from UK/Europe/Asia
But planning them this way on a reg basis would be rather ridiculous and would exclude more CDS citizens that it would INCLUDE.
I however am often up at that time. It might be a good time for me to put up a question or two.

It sounds like Ceasar might be there. Nice gesture if it hits early morning in Europe and late afternoon/early evening in Pacific time zones in Australia and Asia.
