1 Can i put Emoticons into the midle of the body of the text instead of just at the end if so how?
2 Ashcroft frequently Inserts "Bethan wrote:" instead of "Quote" in the appropiat place how dose he do this?

You can always type the emoticons in the middle instead of clicking the icons. 
or cut and paste.

You can specify the person you're quoting like so: [quote="beathan"]
