With the upcoming election, might it be a good idea to have, as we did with the Special Commission on the Judiciary, a forum set aside for election-related discussion, and discussion of party politics, to keep the other fora free of such things?

I think what Ashcroft means is a central place to fight it out, without 'polluting' the regular party threads.

What I'd like to see, personally, is a LIVE DEBATE - between the parties.
So that they can present all the subjects to the audience,
(in an easy way) and, for example
re-capitulate on the judicial issue for all of us who've lost track
(and I'm one of those, sadly)
