Im not a member of the traders assocation but as a consumer id like to say a couple of things for you to consider :)

First as for a "Comon Theam" Neufreistadt is a bavarian sim so unless you just want to sell Cococlocks and Frackwork houses you want to emphesize that you don't have just tourist trap kish! :D but rather a varaity of quality goods from a varaity of craftsmen. CN is a simlar situation. If you need comon points for advertizing you have 2 senic mostly lag free, garabage free, and greifer free sims, hype that.

Regarding Your code of Ethics the proposal seems to me to be a Generic "We promise to be good guys" statement that means what ever you want it to mean. (Ps maybe if you adopt it Diane shoudn't put out her Empress Outfit, someone might not get the joke or apriciate it) :D If you want to empres me your code of ethics shoud include details like this

-All sales lititure shoud include information on permisions, primcount, and milliseconds of scriptime (that last if you can get someone to help you determin it)
- we will resolve all discrepancies and disagreements quickly and equitably within 3 buisness days.
-we will not permit members to resale merchandise offered for free for a profit. and will investigate to determine the will of the creator on any freebes offered.

If you are going to sell clothing a dressing room or tent with room to swing the camera woud be nice. If you coud incude a sign that says "feel free to rez and unpack merchandise but please delete packaging afterword" woud be nice also.

Here have some rope, its free! :)

Samantha, thanks for the input!

[quote="Samantha Fuller":1hzd4bqo](1) tourist kitsch
(2) Ethics = Generic "We promise to be good guys"

(3) All sales lititure shoud include information on permisions, primcount, and milliseconds of scriptime (that last if you can get someone to help you determin it)
(4) we will resolve all discrepancies and disagreements quickly and equitably within 3 buisness days.
(5) we will not permit members to resale merchandise offered for free for a profit. and will investigate to determine the will of the creator on any freebes offered.

(1) Although not our goal, I believe we need more of this kitsch!
A new Lederhosen freebee would be good as a tourist gimmick.
("Hey where did you get those weird pants? In that German town, man!")

(2) Samantha is right here .. but ofcourse we should keep our code as legible as possible.
Stuff like (3), (4), (5) should be in there.

(3) Very good proposal, it's simply more professional.

(4) This is a powerful promise and a good one.
Shouldn't we be able to give customers a 'money back' promise?
It shouldn't be hard to do: If we accumulate a little RL money (some kind of escrow?)
it would be possible to refund the incidental unhappy customer.
Resolving disagreements without 'money back' can be supported by
exchanging with each other the maximum amount of contact info
(for as far as our privacy beliefs permit) and allowing us to react faster iRL if business doesn't run smoothly in SL.

(5) I would support it if it refers to SL-content.

I'm guessing this is not Saddam inspired, but your natural charm :-)
