Abuse of authority

Go ahead and do your worst you authoritarian shithead.

This childish statement reflects more on you than it does on me I believe.

Oh, is that right Didi? I'm childish? You issue me with a warning from your un-elected position of authority, because I call one of your friends on his predjudices.

You publish my private correspondence without my consent or agreement.

When I criticise you, you lock the thread, so that I can't reply in context. And[b:1bn8bnvm] I'm [/b:1bn8bnvm] childish? Brace yourself buddy!

While I really don't like Carolyn's belligerent tone in these forums, I have to agree that closing a thread when the thread is about *you* is highly inappropriate. The posts in the thread can be seen to violate the forum moderation guidelines, but the appropriate action was to get a different person to perform the moderation.

Conceded. The thread in question has been unlocked.

I am however unable to guess, who would be expected to perform moderation by the above logic in the case where somebody called "the entire SC a bunch of *****"

In a 'PM' message, Carolyn demonstrated her sense of humor to me:
[quote:jzgifijn]Why don't we all give each other a big hug?[/quote:jzgifijn]

TOP, why would I want to hug someone, when I can kill them and rape their twitching corpse? :D[/quote:jzgifijn]

I was rather fond of this one[/url:h3wos1ex] where
I favour public flogging myself.[/quote:h3wos1ex]
Flogging oneself in public does not appear to be prohibited by the covenants. :D

What is this,'publish Carolyn's PM's Day'? You and Didi should get together TOP. If the two of you keep using my work like this I'll have to charge you for it.

Why does this site double post everything I edit?

Don't worry, I have no intention of publishing a 'Carolyn's collected works of insults and distasteful jokes'

Why not? I might buy that. You could even share the royalties with Carolyn.

Let's keep things simple enough to be fair, substantive enough to be effective, and insightful enough to be good.

It's the thought of sharing the royalties that scares him. In the meantime, can we have a disclaimer on the PM page: "Caution, your private correspondance will be used against you once we're squalid and desperate enough."?

Or: 'If you write annoying things, people may decide to post it on the main forum.'
Maybe you want to call people 'desperate' so that you can think you won the argument, I don't know how your psychology works, but I only found it distasteful.

In my experience, once someone starts trying to define the terms by which others have 'won the argument' it's a tacit acknowledgement that they have lost it.

Oh, and I'm taken with the notion that it's ok to violate someone's privacy because you don't get a joke. Tyranny thrives on hypocrites like you.

Yes, sure I support tyranny.
Yes, sure I've "violated" your "privacy".
Yes, sure you've won the argument.
Carolyn, I humbly admit, you were always right.

I would like to propose a formal resolution to the incoming RA that this thread be officially renamed as "Sophomoric Responses to Sophomoric Comments."

And yes, I'm referring to all of you, and now even myself. LOL!
