MoCA seeks Pro Bono lawyer to take a look at 2 small documen

Post by Sleazy_Writer »

Hi,

The MoCA team is drafting two small documents that will formalize the donation of art process a bit. Our member of the board Beathan would look at it if first life hadn't demanded all his time.
The documents are written in an agreement/contract style. Could someone please take a look at them? We would appreciate that very much.

Please get in touch with us to keep the MoCA effort going!

This isn't really a legislative discussion is it? I notice you have cross-posted this both in judicial and legislative discussion. A better venue imho might be some sort of weekly newsletter or a classifieds forum but of course we don't have that. "General Discussion" seems to me to be the best place to put this.

Moderator, I've removed 1 of the 2 posts .. I'll leave this one here since the jurists will be reading this subforum.

Some help still wanted!

TOP --

I know this was on my plate. I'm sorry I got thrashed this weekend and today in deps. (I am doing marathon depositions in a case involving a young child who has severe neurological injury as a result of exposure and allergic reaction to toxic mold caused by a low-end homebuilder's shoddy construction practices.) I expect to have something for you tomorrow evening.

Beathan

Let's keep things simple enough to be fair, substantive enough to be effective, and insightful enough to be good.

Thanks for the understanding, Top. Sorry to push this but it is important for me to state for the record that the correct principle for determining in which forum to place a post is not "who will be reading this forum" but rather "what is the purpose of this forum." The former principle is the same that spammers apply (sans comparison), whereas abiding by the latter in the general case will enable readers to have a reasonable expectation of what they will see when entering one sub-forum rather than another.

This has probably not been clear before and I will endeavour to have it included in the next revision of the Forum Moderation Guidelines.
