How did you come to live in the CDS? Attracted by beautiful landscapes? A variety of different kinds of sites for a home? Invitation from a friend? Landed during an exploration? Our regions have much to recommend them, including wonderful people from many different RL countries who have come together in enduring community.
It’s not an accident that our community has just celebrated it’s 17-year anniversary! Yes, 17 years and counting. It’s in good part because we the citizens of the CDS are self-governing. We are a functioning democracy. Every six months, we elect representatives from among our citizenry to set our community policies and take care of the tasks that keep us operating. Whether you've lived in the CDS for years or have recently moved here, being part of our government is a good way to help our community, it’s a great way to make friends!
